How to use .info, .net, .biz when you also have .com ?

    Hi
Say you have widgets.com and also purchased widgets.info, widgets.net, widgets.biz together as a package.
You have set up main site widgets.com so how do you make the best use of other widgets.info, widgets.net, widgets.biz?
Redirect .info, .net, .biz to widgets.com? Set up separate sites related to widgets.com on .info, .net, .biz . For eg. use .info to put lots of info about widgets with lots of links to widgets.com, set up directory about widgets on .bz with lots of links to widgets.com.
'cos redirecting is quite passive and does not help in PR/link development of widgets.com
    Thanks :)

If this is a commercial site selling a product, I would go with redirection, that way you can build a stronger brand as apposed to splitting your brand amongst several sites.

If the site you are developing is for revenue from alternate sources such as affiliate sales, or advertising, and brand making is not an issue, I would make seperate sites on each domain, all with unique content, cross link between them, then add some of them into certain directories, and soem into others, when google bots start browsing the pages you will move up in the serps and you will get better ranking which in turn will return more visitors.

YOur decision should all be based on what your goal is, are you looking for more visitors or a better brand.

Park them on the .com and 301 them to the .com.

The only time I would not do that would be if I had a legitimate use for a second domain as mentioned above.

If I have the other domains also, I park them to the .com, or the first one I got (If my site was myname.info for 2 years, myname.com will be parked to myname.info)
