    definitely a dog. it's a mans best friend. though, funny some of you say parrots. I have a blue-headed amazon at home. Dopy old thing (nothing like an African grey)...but for some reason he seems to like watching Coronation Street, which really amuses me.

    Dogs are the best! Although they're a big commitment and they require a lot of work, so don't get one if you don't feel confident that you can take care of him or her.
