How long did it take you to reach $1000+ per month using adsense and did you do it through micro niche websites or authority websites? For me it took just over 3 months of work and dedication, but now that I have achieved this and know all the proper steps to complete I bet it would only take about 2 months of work.

I think it took me between one and 2 years, but that's because I started very slowly on the wrong foot, I was already doing sites for my own interest in december 2003 when I applied for adsense and put the ad at the bottom of the page like many newbies. It's only after some time that I started changing ad placement and also creating new sites less about what I like but about what most people like. So I did it very slowly and if I was to start now from scratch I think it would take me less than 6 months to be able to earn $1000 per month with adsense. (starting with no other site to link from, and by creating a new domain name and new sites) because $1000 a month is only $33 per day which could be about 300 clicks or 3000-5000 ad impressions daily, which can be done by having popular content, but it takes some time to produce original content day after day, and I don't like to work too much so 6 months is a good timeframe I think.
I have just stared using Adsense about a week ago and I must say, It's not as hard as many people make it seem. Just give it a shot is my advice LEARN!
How to make 1000$ a month with adsense: 1) Find low competition keywords using gkwt. 2) Build a niche site around that keyword using the keyword in H1, H2, title, desription meta tags, general content and domain name. (On Page SEO) 3) Get Backlinks from various article directories to boost your ranking. Try to get to number 1 on google obviously. 4) Install the Adsense code in a visible position on your website. 5) Rinse & Repeat until you reach 1000$
I think it is a wrong approach to say this. You can make 1000 US dollars per month in this month and next month you make zero. And then 100, and then zero again. You need to have a website with high traffic in high cost keyword themes, that is the answer.
well, making a 1000 USD in 3 months of workhard through adsense is possible. All you need is dedication of work and targeting the right audience. The way is simple if you know it.
It took me about six months. This was all from one single website. Now having expanded to 5 sites in total, the earnings have tripled. It's all about finding the formulae that works for you and then repeating.
If one of my sites repeats the last few days earnings all month, that's $1000 this month. However, its the same content, same backlinks, and one LESS ad unit than last year. My other site in the same niche on half the traffic still continues to get cents per day.
When I first started with adsense my first month was about $400 off a blog that took no time at all to put together. It was ranked rather quickly and worked out great. Now I'm pretty much hooked on site building and tossing adsense on my sites.
