Hi, I just launched my new travel europe blog I built link popularity, did on-page optimization and forums posts, submit blog to many blog directories. I know that search engine is not only one souces but I don't know exactly what should I do to drive traffic to my site. My site has unique and useful contents with update every 2 days or daily (sometime ) Thank you for any suggestion. Regards, Sxperm
I don't know how to tell you because my site just started to updated content seriously for only 5 days D wait too long for my writer finished his jobs) and yes I started to buily my link and do many things for only 5 days and now I got visitors for only 18 but I glad that half of them are returning visitors, for CTR, I didn't get any clicks because of much less amount of visitors. That's why I started this thread. Regards, Sxperm
Is your site only 5 days old? If not, how old is it? Acquiring 1000 uniques per day is a lot to ask of a brand new site. It takes time and patience. I checked your site out and it appears you only have 17 backlinks. If that is correct, you are going to have to get a lot more links to bring in more traffic. How are your rankings in the major search engines?
Actually, my site has been 35 days old (approx.) but I have to waited very long time for my writer finished his jobs, after that, I started to do many things in these 5 days - Find relevant themed links - submit to many free directories (some paid with good and some authority too) - do on-page optimization - built unqiue contents, update frequently - forums posts (some of I favourite like this place) - PR (for soon, my site is not good enough to do PR yet) - buy link space from some relevant site that have good amount of traffics (some are dealing, some are turned down. some didn't give me stats and offer me MFA sites) I prefer of amount of unique visitors much more than PR. but I feeling something, I'm not quite sure, I mean, I want to spend money and time wisely. I can afford to buy anything that worth it, don't want to be foolished or waste out times and money without anything worth returning. (example : someone offer me $15/months for MFA sites that has PR4 and seems no real traffics at all. If I paid him, I'm being a dumbass for sure. ) If you know some good ways to do with my travel blog or have someone to recommend me to deal with, do not hesitate to tell me. Regards, Sxperm
Still a one month old site is going to need time to achieve 1000 u/v's day. Just keep working hard, obtaining backlinks and doing what you are doing. You will get there.
You have to be patient to see the results of your efforts Have you started getting any traffic from the search engines to your blog? With unique and interesting content added regularly and a steady amount of links to your site, you should be able to see some traffic from SERPs coming soon. Most of these will be for niche keywords. I'd also suggest that you should write articles and submit them to promote your blog.
I havent used insnare to promote articles yet, but I do manual submissions to popular article directories. You can browse around and see some of the most important ones and submit to them. I wouldnt recommend automated submissions.
Actually, I did article submission for my real estate site manually and it works great. but it consumes too much time per article even use AI roboform to help. For my new site, they've many articles to spread and if I submit them manually, I may not do anything but submit them. That's why I interesting with iSnare to help me. thank you for your kind suggestion. good luck with your sites. cheers, sxperm
Hi, do you currently ping many blog services? If not you are missing out on some quick, easy traffic and backlinks. Also, if you categorize deeper (even though it might clutter up your category list it helps. Feel free to ask me how to optimize a blog anytime, it's not impossible to get 1000 hits / day but there are a lot of factors in play of course.
Thank you I already added many ping services in "ping lists" and sometime ping them myself. but for optimized, give me your suggestion. cheers, sxperm
Do you ping Technorati? If so are they still working? It's pretty easy to get banned there and not much you can do about it if you do. If you categorize your blog better Technorati can send quite a few hits from their tag searches as well as give you lots of relevant backlinks.
This is a new site we started for example. 90% of the early traffic was directly from Technorati and other sites that reposted Technorati results. We did have a custom backend running it on autopilot but I wanted to show you that there is traffic waiting for you. http://www.30kchallenge.com/images/stats.gif I'm not sure how popular travel is there but it can't hurt.
I didn't ping Technorati but I submit manually at their site. If you visit my blog you may see their icon at the bottom right. They send me traffics at 2 clicks for now. cheers, sxperm
