ok i started a new site around 25 days back in which i had one section on which i want to make a separate site altogether..so my question is shud i make a subdomain or new domain name altogether.....further how do in transfer content from that site to my subdomain ?i mean shud i use 301 redirect to subdomain or new domain name.....
or secondly shud i delete the content from my main site for that category and place that content on new subdomain as i heard having same content on domain and subdomain is penalised by google....i m highly confused...

Further is www.keyword.primarydomain.com is better or www.keyword.net will be a better choice.....any experts plz :)

subdomain, from google point of view, they will put more trust on a subdomain than a new domain

Both are fine, your can optimize the keyword/product in the domain / sub-domain names.

Your question has two to be keenly analyzed before answering. There are two various things concealed in it.
There are two solutions for it ofcourse,
1.If you want to get your primarydomain a high ranking in Google its gud to go with the subdomain i.e, keyword.primarydomain.com . (Google thinks sites with subdomains are more reputed. And having a subdomain will help to get ranked quickly by Google)
2.If your primary goal is to popularise/SEO the content of keyword.primarydomain.com its good to go with keyword.net because of the advantage of using a TLD.
Hope this solves ur dilemma.Feel free to ask.If you have a doubt.
