Fist of all you need to choose domain name which must include your main keywords. if you choose right domain then it will take 1-2 months to get rank on first page on google.com. Back link requirement depend on your competitor, you need more backlinks then your competitor.

1 - is it exact match or broad? if it is broad - do not spend your time
2 - if it is exact - find +7-10 additional words to work over several of them

3 - buy domain with your main KW
    4 - make seo

Use the Firefox browser, use the addons Quirk SearchStatus (backlinks), SeoQuake (backlinks and other SEO info) and RankChecker.

From my experience it is still very hit and miss if you only do one. Plan to create 20 and 4 of them will make you decent returns which you can ramp up with more pages. more SEO etc etc.

I think you should to generate more and more back links as you can and you will required minimum 3 months to see your keywords top position in search engine..

I've seen some get a #1 ranking for a keyword that makes them money in under a minute so the question is too broad.

What I'm saying is if you create only 1 it may never rank because of some random factor. I've had sites with great keyword research, wordpress blog and optimized page with hundreds of backlinks and it still didn't get in the top 100 on Google after 12 months (it did on Bing and Yahoo though.) If I had only decided based on that one I would have given up a great strategy that worked elsewhere.

I almost forgot , download TrafficTravis (use the free version) or MarketSamurai if you can afford it. They'll give you a better "snapshot" of what you're up against. If it's to tough (to many backlinks) I'd move on, don't worry about the number of pages from the larger "broad" authority sites.

please use meta tags in description when you make posts for these keywords and also look for similiar keywords and and try to put them. Dont forget about anchor texting to your own key words and ping google as soon as you are done with your job

I had built quite a few MNS-100 plus since last year. In a nut shell it works but do not expect to quit your day job just as yet. IMO MNS need equal amount of time to nurture as small/middle sites. The only benefit is if you have done your research right, your site can be in a decent SERP in the matter of weeks, but it will drop off if you don't maintain it. It’s not set and forget.

    To answer to question:

*how can i top this keyword????? - Depends on the competitions on the first page, your domain, your backlink strategy.
*how long will it take???????? - No one can answer you that. One week to few years maybe.
*how can i figure out that how many backlinks i would require to top the search????? - It also depend on the quality of your backlink and your on site SEO.

MNS method is just like throwing a bunch of darts and see which one sticks. Be mentally prepared that only 10-20% of the sites will bring you the dough.

It's really impossible to give you any real information without first knowing the keyword, but don't post it obviously.

Alright see, before I start answering you.. let me tell you something that I’ve learned being a blogger for 5 years. Firstly, If the keyword your targeting has a large amount of competition then it will be harder for you to get that Number 1 place.. Secondly, if the keyword has less competition then it will be easier to go up provided the amount of ‘Global Monthly Searches’ and ‘Local Monthly Searches’ is fairly good.
If that’s low, then no matter wherever you may rank, it will do you no good.. Alright now,
    1. You can top this keyword by increasing your content’s keyword density. If your going for link exchange then try putting in this keyword as your Anchor Text.
    2. The amount taken for you to see the results is entirely dependent on a) Google :D and, b) Your Blog’s content.
    3. It’s pretty easy, you can do a simple trick. Check out the number of backlinks the website at Number 1 position holds, you’ll get the BEST idea how many you need to defeat him..
Good Luck! If you want my help on any other topic then PM me.. Cheerz!

Local searches don't really mean much, they depend on where you set your location, if you live in say Africa, I can't see many people searching to buy a new microwave? lol.
