Hate Radio does not work. Air America files Chapter 11

Well it looks like hate radio in American does not work. Just like hate politics, Air America is going down the tubes.

For those that do not know, Air America is a liberal talk show network set up in an attempt to compete with the likes of Rush Limbaugh in an effort to sway public opinion into believing the world is full of doom and gloom. Air American featured the follies of such wannabe comedians like Al Franken.

Two years of broadcasting hate is all it took for Air American and Franken to implode.

Just think, if liberals actually made a postitive contribution to public life, both on the radio and in politics, I would listen, and I would vote for them.

Sadly, they are still doomed.

 

What, you mean George Soros and the Hollywood elite aren't willing to just fund this crap out of their own pockets? But I thought they cared!

 

Well, the fairness doctrine might be rearing its ugly head again. If you can't beat em, suppress em!

 

Liberals are kind of hard to listen to...but this is a trend in the newspapers as well...atleast locale. People either want to hear leaning right perspective or moderate views, imo. Overt left is just not 'in'. The over right can get away with it, because...I don't know...it just can.

 

That must be why some many of them watch that there Fox News...

Man: I'd like to rework that station. I'd get it going with hippy chicks extolling the virtues of free love, get a lot of hot music on it, and offer pearls of wisdom, get contributions out of the lefty hollywood sect, add pearls of wisdom, get video connections with those hippy chicks in action and draw in the crowds and advertisers!!!!! Lot of debt though. it would take a lot of work.

2) radio is for backwards hicks who listen to stuff like rush, most liberals are educated, and own computers and get their news and commentary from the internet

There's nothing like seeing liberal failure. Looks like they are stiffing quite a few companies along the way.

 

It's not about liberals as much as it's about left wing nuts as I see.

Left wing nuts are failing as evidenced by this, and Right wing nuts, like Bush and his cronies, are failing.

The liberals completely dominate mainstream media. CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC, PBS, and even the BBC are clearly tools of leftist propaganda.

The conservatives went "underground" to talk radio and the Internet because they had very little voice in media before that.

 

That's bullshit. They have the money to do what ever that want. They just don't have a right wing audiance that is big enough.

Most of the media labled left wing is more moderate then far left IMO.

There are nut jobs on both side though.

 

Actually CNN isn't too shabby... but don't forget NYT and Washington Post.
