NEED HELP - Wordpress site loading extremely slow

Hey folks, I'm really hoping someone here can help me. I recently purchased a Wordpress theme called "Prestige", very nice theme!! I'm using it one 3 different sites, however for some reason one site I'm using it on is loading VERY slow and I can't figure out why.

    The URL is: http://www.megamusiclyrics.com

I've tried pretty much everything I can possibly think of to speed up the site loading time. I've even contacted the theme developers as well as my host and they are unable to figure out why this is happening.

I've tried deactivating ALL plugins, still no resolve. For testing purposes I even switched back to basic/default wordpress theme to see if perhaps there was for some reason something glitchy with the theme, this also had no impact on site loading time.

I also deactivated Google Analytics for this site to see if that is what's causing the site to load so slow but that isn't the issue either.

I cannot afford to have this site load so slowly, but I have no idea how to fix it. If you visit for example http://www.pearljamfever.com you'll notice I'm using the same theme there, site is on the same server and it loads quite fast and hassle free.

This is really beginning to frustrate me and I REALLY hope someone here can share some ideas on how I can fix this!!

    Thanks in advance!

Both sites are slow to load. Checking records, they are both hosted by the same company in Romania.

If there is no problem with the web hoster, and it appears that there is no problem with scripting of the site, then there can only be one other conclusion. There is something wrong down the line between us and them.

The problem may correct itself, but considering the location of the server -- this may not be a reliable location for your server.

I suggest moving the critical site to another server that has the bandwidth to deliver the content to the outside world.

If the sites are on different servers then it is probably something with the server. I've had problems with shared hosting accounts and called our hosting company like 10 times before they finally switched us to a grid server which fixed the loading issues. That's the only thing I can think of.

try changing to default theme and see if the site loads slow. besides any plugins used also may be a cause.

thanks Techking, this may be the approach I need since I'm having no luck resolving the issue on my own and I've tried everything I can think of, even spoke to several web developers I know and they are all stumped as well.

Can't wait to see how this works out.
Pay someone and find out that it is your hosting company.
Slow sites 99% of the time are on slow servers.

As someone suggested, move the site to another host and see what happens.
Heck, try a free host for testing it out.

You said the other site also on the same server, do you mean you're using a VPS? Or are each of them on shared hosting?
If shared hosting then submit a ticket to your host and ask them to move you to other server. You have a valid reason so I don't see any reason they would charge you for that.

site loading depends on site's bandwidth , check your host bandwidth, what you provide bandwidth for particular site.

@the thread author It works fine for me, but I'm visiting it from Europe.

@the BR guy, those tests from Brazil fail or take pretty long... I guess it's the testing company. I use the same service from all the countries when I make a major change on the website to see how it performs around the world.

Excuse me? I was talking to jatrasmara, who was talking to rozer82, who is running from thread to thread and posting nonsensical sentences. If you want your thread overrun with spam ... okay. Who am I to interfere with it. Your wish is my command. Ta ta.
