Hi i have heard gurus giving a debate on launching product and they also suggest affiliate to market those which are set to be launched on the future date. i was following the same, but i found a big issue with the method; suppose i made $100 from a good product which has good conversion on Jan1, the next day i earned $50 from a product which is neither good nor bad neutral in the nature, now what happens is it increases the refund rate. crap products are returned back and from $150 more than half amount is deducted in the fees of refunded items. so here my question is how to improve on the method? is there any way to reduce the refund rate or at least make it equal to the conversion rate. thanks in advance
The only way to reduce refund rate I think is choosing launching products wisely. Even if you do you still are liable to refunds because mostly newly launching sites are the make money online niche and the people that buy the products think that they are loosing money just for investing on that product and may ask refund to reverse that. I think other niches have less refund rate but not quite sure because I am seeing results only with make money niche - because this niche have more buzz and so traffic than others.
I would be very cautious marketing these new money online niches, as many of them are just rehashed products that don't work. My suggestion would be to wait a few days, go to the warrior forum and see the reviews. People purposely buy the products to test them and give reviews on them. Marketing half of these products to your list could be a fast way to lose your list. A lot of these make money online products aren't working and customer service is horrible. Now, I'm not saying all of the products are bad but you need to wait and see the reviews before sending some of these products to your list. To your success!
Agree If I was working with clickbank I wouldn't promote those new products to my list, just type the word clickbank into google and you'll see all the bad comments about their products. You've worked so hard on building your list with one bad product you will get lot of people unsubscribe.
you are right i am thinking to promote good products that have at least credibility in the market. I don't want to spoil my website... however set up plans for old product is tough, there would be thousands of competitors.
If i wait i loss the chances of getting any sales for the product.. if you are in marketing you might have idea that when a new product launches it gets more sales.. with the passage of time the conversion rate reduces this is why majority of marketers are following the launching product method... i tried to do so, some products owners have limited slots, i promoted a good product and waited for the information by the time my blog post was indexed and got on the first page of Google the product was sold out.
well, i used to go through the profile of product owners just to check what's the history of his old products, accordingly i made plans like whose product should be promoted to the website. but now it does not work anymore sometimes top marketers create crap product.
