Filesonic premium works best with JDownloader, With JDownloader files can be downloaded automatically by scheduling, speeds are decent for most home internet connection.

Filesonic's current captcha for free downloading is one of the main motivating factors for going for a premium account as downloading multiple files at once (more than 4) usually result in slow speed or incomplete downloads.

No other file hosting site will give their affiliates this much money through various plans & promos, also their quick & dedicated support to all users (free & premium), free ftp etc all outweighs some of the additional premium features offered by other hosting sites.

 

try to pay attention. I am talking about premium accounts. Slow as hell on half the servers. Others are ok, not good though. And I don't use FileSonic or any other filehost to make money. I am talking about downloading. Who cares how much you pay out when your downloading infrastructure is a joke? Every other file host is faster than FileSonic. Every one. None have problems with IDM. NONE. only FileSonic.

 

Try JDownloader if you have the time. FileSonic doesn't have any control over which download managers support them. They aren't unwilling to address your issues, many people here will attest to that. One reason why your download speeds may not be great could be your geographical location. I for one get the "download slots are busy" message from depositfiles quite often. Fileserve is a very popular host but usually when downloading from them I get low speeds. Rapidshare deleted most of my files when I used to use them and also their rewards program (along with Megaupload's) is nothing compared to that offerred by FileSonic. Hotfile's ranking system is atrocious and Oron isn't popular enough yet (although I do use Oron at forums where FileSonic isn't allowed).

You may be having problems with FileSonic but they will continue to sell premium accounts to other downloaders. In fact, in the last few days according to Alexa.com they've been more popular than depositfiles.

 

Chill out. You can't have tried every single filehost. Keepfile, letitbit, duckload, extabit, easyshare, badongo, 4shared, furk, hitfile, turbobit, bitshare, kickload, megashares, filefactory, netload, shareflare, envirofile, kewlshare...I could go on. What you're asking for is out of FileSonic's control. Maybe you should try to get in touch with IDM if you are intent on using them.

 

Even though JDownloader will not efficiently use full speed of your internet connection, still it can use filesonic premium account's features efficiently and it will help you to schedule downloading without any manual intervention.

Also as FXXXB stated it may be due to the location from you're downloading, anyway filesonic or any other hosts cannot do much to resolve individual speed problems as its due to technical issues between the ISP's, also most people are satisfied with the speed & services they offer.

 

so every other file ho.st i've used presented zero problems with speed and zero problems with IDM. FileSonic is the only one that presented problems, yet you think it's a geographical or ISP problem. yeah that makes a lot of sense. Pure B.S.

 

Indian Paypal users have an issue going around with the latest RBI notification. Please give an option of holding funds in our account.

yeah this is true for indian users you must use manual request technique because only then we will be able to use paypal for our future earnings

Hish there is a big problem with the File Manager..
In every folder I browse I have 172 pages with the same files, this is obviously not the case since I take care of my folders and organize everything..This is obviously a bug, are you aware of it?

 

cmw17, for premium users I have 4mbit and can get 475 kbyte/sec (I get same value for all hosts), before accusing a host, it may be cause from your place or country. In my country, we are slow connections but filesonic is very speed

 

there is a refund today and this why its 60$.

I cannot use the file management option. Copied my files 14 times accidentaly. Now, there are 1500 pages of files. It is too slow to load the page. It doesn't load the page and I cannot upload any files. I cannot delete them manually because there are thousands of them. Can you help hish?
