WHY is my index pages in Google decreasing?

    A week or so ago it was at around 5000 indexed pages, now it keeps decreasing. Right now it's at around 1200.

    Is somebody doing something to harm my site to get the number of index pages decreased?

    you need to submit your xml sitemap in rss feed directory, so google can pick all your pages.

    Same here. My site dropped from about 19000 to 7500 (some also saw it down to 100) last week. Now it's slowly going back up to 11000 - 14000..

    I think resubmitting a fresh sitemap.xml file to webmasters would do some help. More of my pages are indexing on a daily basis - so don't see where the problem is arising from to be honest.

    In addition to submitting your RSS, you should update your blog/site regularly.
