What is Google Redirect 404?

Hi Friends,

I have heard about a new redirect that is Redirect 404.

Can any DP member make me understand how to use it in my site.

I think if you make a file with this line at the top, and make ur 404's go to that file, it'll redirect to the home page. The number is the delay.

Are you saying this is a Google "Approved" method to redirect?

 

404 error means , server dose not found page as u click.

Redirection should be removed by htaccess and create error.html page.

 

Basically such a type of fat or simply implies that the pages not been found. However i do not understand what you mean by Google redirect 404 error??

 

So my advice is not to use the Plugin and change the Permalink directly from the panel of WordPress. then through the access statistics in a few days see how many and which pages you have 404 errors (old url) generate these errors 404. 404 if the errors are few or no you do not do anything. If you have a lot of errors from multiple old pages, then set the redirect for each pag
