Hey guys, I have an anime download site getting about 15k pageviews a day, 3k unique visitors/day. I've always been on and still on Adsense. In the last 30 days I've made an average of $1.83/day off of about 10 clicks a day. My CPC is $0.17 and Page RPM $0.13. I feel like I could do better and have noticed the google ads presented for my viewers are just totally off most of the time Any suggestions on other ad networks? I don't want to swamp the sites with things like popup ads, redirecting pages, inline text ads (I don't think it'd do well on my site anyways), etc. Just simple image or text ads. Right now I really just have one add across the top and a bigger on vertically down the right nav bar. Or perhaps should I be looking into affiliate programs instead of PPC? I appreciate any tips you can give me, thanks!
Adsense is the best... believe me you would get no other ad company paying better than them. You can use other ad networks as Infolinks along with adsense but again won't be more than what you are currently earning.
Oh I see Would it be good to mix other ad networks with google then? And if so what ad networks? I assume that ad network should have ad styles unique to google so I can place them elsewhere on the site and leave the google ones in tact :3?
Popups is what I don't want, so yeah presumably another CPM network. I'll check em' out guys, thanks!
I would not recommend clickwinks, they pay $0.05 per 1000 impressions, they don't pay for clicks on those CPM banners. You may as well go with a PPC network.
Not sure if your website is just anime, but there are hentai ppc providers. This is the equivalent of porn for anime. Granted it's pretty disgusting but it exists, and could possibly provide cheaper leads than conventional ppc campaigns, i.e google, bing/yahoo. Since you are in the anime niche they could convert well.

Try these: http://www.vibrantmedia.co.uk/ They "specialise" in in-text ads. Yes. The annoying ones that highlight words and form a bubble when hovered over.
You should try a gaming CPM network. PM me for a few decent ones that don't have popups, just background ads, and footer ads. Also, PM me your site. I'm curious how it's 40k Alexa with only 3k unique's/day =p
I'm amazed about alexa ranking like Dismatikz, my anime picture site has around 6K uniques per day for the past 6 months and has a alexa ranking of 84K. The best way is to keep using google adsense untill they drop you but set backup ads so they don't use PSA when google can't find anything reliant. I use cpmstar this. This way i get like 10$ per day from adsense and another 1-3$ from cpmstar. For one banner i use it in this order: Adsense to Fidelity-media to cpmstar. The key is to never relay on a single ad networks, sign up for networks that allow you to use backup ads.
