Review required for Running Forum

Hello! I just can share my first impressions, I was a little confused after I opened your site, because that what I expected was not that what I saw. Simply if already in the name of your site there is mentioned forum, I expect to see forum when I will visit this site. But when I opened it, that more looked like a blog for me. Maybe that's because I have not used to such kind of forums, I am not sure.

I also do not think that you need two links to your home page at the moment you have - The running forum and next to it Forums, they both bring to the same home page. For my site I would not make so big header part, but those are just my thoughts ... when I press that Hide message button, for me it looks much better, because then I can see more of that what really is on your site!

I actually like the blog type theme. I stands out from most of the other forums out there that look similar to the style used on DP.

 

Okay thats good....I want the site to look different to a normal forum layout.

 

Then you have reached your goal and everything is fine! I shared with you just my thoughts and what one likes others not at all!

 

I like the design. I think you should change the main information text:

"Join us now to get access to all our awesome features. Once registered and logged in, you will be able to create topics, post replies, give reputation to your fellow members, get your own private messenger, and so, so much more."

Perhaps change it to something which tells more about your website/forum.

I.e."Join us now to get access to tips on your fitness.... blah blah."

When I opened your website it didn't seem obvious at first. - That was my first impression. Usually first impressions matter the most.

My first impression is that I really liked it. The header is really warm looking and soft on the eyes. Good job!

 

Thats a very good forum but you should have better logo f or your forum and get more members to make your forum popular

 

Pretty clean design
Consider changing the font style (makes it look odd for the lavish theme)
Also try to get a more creative logo (on the left, where your description stands currently )

in the register form, i just found captcha and Challenge Question, so the spammer need more effort to pass your forum. Nice good job bro..
