    Hi All,

I am new to this world, Need some help. I am searching for good keywords on the google keyword tool. When I run a search for ex: 'how to get a boy' Google comes back with 74,000 global searches. Now my question is: does this 74,000 include the people that kept typing and searched for 'how to get a boyfriend'? I wouldn't think so because Google comes back with 135,000 searches for that term, so it seems separate. All feedback is appreciated. ty

I dont think google groups things like that, becuase there are a lot of keywords like that. I know it works for like 'design'->'designs', and stuff like that. Also make sure you have your settings to 'exact'.
    Cheers.

Ok, that helped. What is the "phrase" search in the keyword for? Is that for keywords with 3 or more words?

No, I dont think Google comes back with the number of websites for that keyword. The tool is to show how many searches there are for that term. Don't confuse me man, I'm having a hard enough time.

The thing you have to keep in the front of your mind when using the Google keyword tool, is that it's an adwords tool.
On the left hand side bar, you can choose to match as exact, phrase or broad.
For SEO purposes, only ever use the exact match, that gives the results for people searching for the term you specified.
The broad and phrase match only have meaning in adwords, they are giving results for searches that would be returned under the conditions of using phrase or broad match in adwords.
A phrase match can have any number of words on the beginning or end of the keyword or phrase you specified, but any words within your original query will be in the same order e.g. if you typed in "pink telephones" it can be matched to "large pink telephones" or "pink telephones in the summer" but not to "telephones pink at night"
Broad match can match for that, and for synonyms and related words e.g "blue cordless phone" - again - this would ONLY come in adwords NOT in organic searches

Somehow google recognize party of your question or there are times which is not related too much it is just a keyword that comes out because it has the same word.
