yup. and in both countries we actually fight all the crime. There are a lot of criminals that do all kinds of illegal stuff like fraud, scams, plagiarism, and get away with it because there governments don't do nothing about it. or can't... So therefor those countries stats aren't that high.

Oh I love it when people use this line! Where was the US when Mugabe was bulldozing people's houses and sponsoring genocide of the Ndebele people? Where has the US been when indiscriminate slaughters have been going on for decades in Burma? Where was the US when François Duvalier's death squads were forcing women to walk around with their children's heads on poles? Where was the US when the Armenians were being wiped out? Where was the US during the Rwanda genocide? Where was the US when Mao was killing millions of his own people? Mengistu Haile Mariam's Ethiopia? Argentina's Dirty War? The list goes on, and on and on.

YOU need to get real and understand why your country is really in these few and selective wars.

You completely missed my point! The wars you're currently in are of special importance because there are natural resources and territorial advantages to gain. They further the fat cat agenda. This has nothing to do with compassion! The West didn't intervene in any of those other cases because there was nothing for them to gain. You need your head examined if you honestly believe Saddam was captured and Iraq was invaded for the good of its citizenry.

I'm not arguing with you on whether he should have been killed, I'm addressing why the country was invaded and why he was killed.

Just go sit back in front of the TV...

    Can you say, irony?

How about revising this excuse of a sentence with proper English?

You're incorrect. I don't watch television or read newspapers, so I don't know what others say about the 'war of terror'. All I know is what I believe, formed from my own thoughts, unlike yourself, of course.

I love reading unintelligible responses Indy. When argument fails scream "Terrorist!". It worked in the fifties and sixties against those darn commies, but unfortunately for you most people are semi educated these days, so it just looks stupid.

    Brilliant, just brilliant.

Have a nice day Indy :D

If anyone think that the main reason for the invasion of Iraq is oil then you need to think again . If the US wanted more oil they could invade Venezuela or bitchslap Brasil and then take some of the oil . The annihilation of Sadam's regime was and it will be beneficial . The fact that Iraq isn't the UAE yet is due to many things Al-Queda , Iran and the usual idiot extremists included .

The U.S. has successfully pulled it's weight since WWII and managed to do one good thing . Avoid another WW and another continent in ruins .

@Indy chill man , the US did a lot of good things and a lot of stupid things . The fact is that freedom and prosperity will always triumph over anything else but don't expect everyone to agree whit you . Just be proud of who you are , what you did and what you love .

I know man, I'm just defending my country against some retard who wants to sit here and try and word his shit like I'm illiterate and stupid or something. Thats his only line of defense though because I am right and he knows it so it don't bother me anyway.
Ya, I didn't say we were perfect, just the best country to live in IMO.

I think he was making more of a personal threat than a generalization about the US itself as a whole.

Keep in mind that this post never had a valid source ;)

Probably the same age as the person using his other account here (hint - same person ;)

So you say you are right because its your country. What about people who don't see it that way and have gave you a good argument.

I will tell you this again. So how about the US taking part in the genocide in Cambodia killing 2 million people is that a thing we can fine tune ?

You can certainly apply Carter Doctrine to Iraq and Kuwait, but not to Afghanistan and Kosovo, even though I see all the clowns trying to do so. I also think it is unfair to use something like Carter Doctrine to say, "Oil is the only reason". Oil is a reason, and perhaps a major reason, but focusing on oil alone, the goal was always a stable market, not theft of resources.

Lets face it, stability is good for capitalism, whether we are talking about oil or Levis, and the world is an inherently unstable place. We are not the world police, and we can't be everywhere, so we have to pick and choose.

I think your argument against war profiteers and the "fat cat agenda", specifically pertaining to a handful of companies that profit from battlefield logistics (KBR, Bechtel, etc) is something that should be monitored very very carefully. I also agree that military ops are the purest form of govt. spending, and in a economic downturn, the govt. should be cutting costs across the board. I just think its unfair to say that humanitarian considerations should be ignored in any given conflict, just because the issues surrounding the conflict are multifaceted.

The people that don't see it that way have had no good points in here anyway. Everyone should be proud of their country. I am. I just think this one is the best because of what we do for the world and the fact that people from all these other countries hope and dream to one day make it here. SO...........

And as far as the other crap, I don't know anything about it to comment on it. Don't care either.
