Is there potential in Adult websites?

    Hey all,

    Just been recently thinking is there much potential in building an adult website. There are so many porn websites out there, that it is difficult.

    I was just wondering how do people make there money in porn sites, i know a lot of websites have subscription but i want to provide free media clips and images and possibly get people in that way then add a subscription. Is there any affiliates that porn sites work?

    How would i also go out about getting much traffic into the website, is there easy methods that can be used?

    Well, a number of paysites do offer affiliate programs which you can use for your free sites. However because it is free to join, you will face a lot of competition. You probably need to buy traffic into your website so basically it will indeed going to cost you money to make money.

    The other thing you can do is to make free sites and galleries and submit them to TGP and Link Dumps.

    theres a GOOD potential in earning good money in adult sites but you must know all the promotional techniques...as you can see adult industry is very COMPETITIVE in SEO....

    If you can find a way to get traffic, I think there is plenty of potential to earn money. I'm sure you just have to start at the bottom and slowly work your way up through the competition.

    Sure, if you can get a lot of images on, maybe some original stuff, I'm sure you'll be able to generate a nice revenue stream.

    Lots of potential in adult sites. Been there done that. Most of the affiliate sites provide free TPG media clips and images that you can use to promote your them.
    Used to rake in money doing it and got bored. But I learned lots of things during my stint in the adult online industry that I now use with my online biz.

    Affiliate programs for porn are heading the way of dinosaurs very quickly. It's almost daily that another big proggy goes under with some paying what they owe other saying sorry we are broke. Things went from tough to total free fall in 2010 and on life support now and fading.

    That is true but at the same time there are some strong programs out there that have been paying with no issues what soever. I asked to be PMed so I can provide a more personal help - yes he can search and read many threads as well. Anyhow just wanted to help :)
