How many backlinks need for PR

    alteast you should have 10 to 20 links from pr pages,

    It is not fixed. Try to create as many links as you can. Your backlink site must be on same theme. PR will come automatically.

    The building of PR depends not only the quantity but also the quality of the backlink you have. Getting links from same nich and high weight pages will help you improve your pr faster.

    I've a site with 3 PR... I daily do work on my site for generate more and more back links... It's depend on Google Algorithm when they give PR to your site...

    More than anything else it depends on the quality of your own page. Having great, well-updated content can be instrumental in having high PR for your webpage. Regarding the number of back-links, there is no set number. It all depends PR and the quality of the the links pointing to your site.
    If both of the above are done properly, then the PR value of the webpage is bound to be high.

    Quantity of backlinks affects the PR of site according to quality of backlinks.It means if your backlink is on High PR directory backlink is more effective than low PR directory.

    Looks like we cann't have precise count of baclink to get specified PR. It mostly depend on google algoritm i think. And if we have good backlink from good PR website it will be good to increase PR.
