How to improve yahoo rankings

Hi Every One,

i am still struggling to understand yahoo algorithm i have good ranking in google but its difficult to get ranking in yahoo. any one Please help me how to get good ranking in yahoo. I did on page and i have quality back links also. Even i dont have good rankings in yahoo. any one please help me.

 

It is the problem of lots of SEO persons not only your. But I think using max submissions can increase yahoo ranking for your site.

 

See, We have not do seo for different like google or yahoo. As a SEO, You have to do submission in all search engine so when ever you submit any post for off page submission then it will same for all search engine. And yahoo take more link building for any website.

 

yahoo is really slow when it comes to indexing and ranking sites.. its not an old issue, but as far as i know they still focus on on-page factors..

 

Collect more & more quality backlinks for your website to get ranking

 

i don't think ranking in google more difficult but in onpage point of view.

1. Meta Title, Meta description, Meta keyword important to ranking the website.
yahoo still provide rank according the yahoo search engine.

offpage ranking factor -- quality link important to rank the website. quality link refer to high page rank site.

 

Link to high PR sites, make quality backlink as you can, try also to have quality content on your niche.

 

if you can get noFollow links, then do get them they help in yahoo rankings.

 

besides back links make on your pages a good percentage of keywords

 

increase content inside your website.

 

Pls hire professional SEO to improve the PR!

 

just focus on optimizing for Google ,, it ll result in all search engine including Bing , lycos etc..

 

just submit your article every day.
it's will rise up your ranking.

 

doing that bro, it aint helpin. But i have noticed yahoo/bing is more rewarding to hard work than google

 

I think the best thing you can do is to do more on SEO build more links and try to have quality and unique article as well.

I would suggest to optimize mainly for Google - if you do not get 10x more traffic from Google than Yahoo then you do something wrong..
As I know Yahoo still gives more importance to Meta Tags than Google, so that could be a way.
What was interesting to me was the fact that meanwhile I started to get more and more traffic from Google the Yahoo traffic dropped... it appeared to me that by fixing some linking / duplicate content mistakes I made back 3 years is resulting in more Google but less Yahoo traffic.. anyhow, weird.

 

get as many backlink as you can with the "keyword" no matter they are dofollow or nofollow

 

Yahoo Consider Do follow and also No follow links so do work in Link building like press release submission, article submission etc.... so you can definitely get better result with your site in Yahoo...
