Application declined with some cj advertisers

I applied to a few vendors on CJ for my site. fogmachines.com is the site and I applied to vendors to promote fog machines. BH Photo was one of the vendors to decline my application.

BH Photo is a popular company dealing in theatrical as well as photography. The only reason I can think of being declined is because I currently have all amazon links on there as I was not set up with CJ at the time of site creation.

Would this be a reason for the decline or am I missing something?

Don't feel bad, we all get denied.

There are several reasons for being denied, just move on and find new ads.

They might not have any more money to spend on paying publishers at this time, they might have certain parameters your site did not meet, who knows.

I don't think it related to other ads on your page though.

i don't think contacting them will give any positive reply.
you should choose another ads. yes there is a great possibility that their budget has ended for the publishers so they are rejecting them. basically some times there is no good reason to be rejected but they reject people. and some time they accept some site which are really not good enough.
so don't be upset and start finding another ads.
    cheers :)

CJ is a mess, but you can manage with a little bit of grunt work.

First, check your promotional settings. A lot so promoters will automatically decline anyone who uses Email Marketing - they fear being associated with Spammers.

Even if you plan on promoting with CJ aff links in several ways, list Content as your only form of promotion...your acceptance rate will go right up.

Also, always double check with the advertiser when you get declined.

I always email them and you'd be surprised how many will manually activate you while cursing CJ up and down.
