    hi

I recently purchased and website script from clone monster dot com and after trying so many times with the seller I released that the script is not genuine and is not their script as he " Andy Anderson"claimed . At time of purchased he promised money back guaranteed if not satisfied or did not work. After trying a few hosting site I was not able to install script neither he was able to do it. So I requested the refund but he does not refund the money . So used paypal and paypal doesn't . What is the my option he seems to do this to all his customers. How do get my $500 back.

    Thanks

wow, you got taken $500 for a script that was not his...I think you are pretty much
out of luck, if you paid via credit card, paypal or not, then you can dispute the charge
with your credit card company, if not, then make the best of it, and find someone that
can help you set the script up...what kind of script was it?

wow, I am surely in the wrong business... :)

PS. You should never buy a clone. a clone is just a stolen
idea that someone else has already created, and normally,
they do not get popular the 2nd time around.

I didn't understand your this line
. Did you use Paypal or not? If you have used paypal you can file a dispute to get your money back. This is the advantage of Paypal.

I assume that he means that he means that he already filled a dispute. However, disputes often don't work on digital goods.

It was pretty obvious that he meant PayPal wouldn't refund the money.

And no, you can't file a dispute over non-tangible goods.

Actually you can file a dispute(I filed one against a coder) and I won. Although the fact that the coder never replied to the claim for 15 days might have helped.
Anyway if you haven't tried a dispute, then go ahead and open one. Provide as much detail as possible and show paypal references of how he cheated you. It's worth a try, 500$ is a lot of money.

You can file a claim for any product if the product is not what was described. What type of script was it I may be able to help you if you have specific hosting requirements.

Always pay through PayPal, via Credit Card when making purchases like this. It makes sure you'll always have the option to make a chargeback on your credit card if something like this happens again.

If you paid using a credit card contact your credit card company and do a charge back to get your money back. As the poser above said next time when making a pruchase like this be sure to pay through your credit card through paypal it adds that extra security when something goes wrong with the purchase since you can just contact the credit card company and request them to do a charge back on the purchase payment. Hope this helps.

    Dear CBS,

I am the new owner of CloneMonster. I realize that there is a lot of negativity associated with CloneMonster's prior owner and his conduct towards customers. Please contact me at support (at ) clonemonster.com so that my team can install the script for you. I apologize for the trouble that the prior owner has caused you, and assure you that everything will be very different now.
