    Here's an exercise i've had success with...

    1. write a list of 15 nouns,15 verbs and 15 adjectives
    2. cut/tear each word into it's own piece of paper
    3. randomly begin coupling them together and see what kinds of options you end up with

    it seems weird but it's actually pretty effective.
