    Less than a day,,, When my home net went down for a couple of days a few months back, Used to spend all my time at the internet cafe :p

    Heh heh, i know what you mean... there was a period of time that my internet was down because my modem was fried by a lightning storm. I drove 1 hour to my friend's place just to borrow a modem...

    I have had problems with my internet connection before, and it was very frustrating--I was restless and worried. That was why I subscribed for more than one ISP. It shows my complete dependence on the internet, which is not good. So, I admonish everyone to have a second means of livelihood apart from the internet.

    Why?

    Because the internet, as constant as it seems, is just a connection that could be disrupted in case of a natural disaster like earthquake or flood, or political strife like the one in Egypt.
