Causes for drop in pagerank?

So I just noticed my page dropped from PR 4 to PR 3... and interestingly enough my blog, which is seperate though lots of links between main site and it, dropped from PR 3 to PR 2. Not sure why this would of happened, I've been buying links, forum posting, blog posting, much much more than I have been the last 2 months than I had the previous couple years! One thing that may be possibly the cause, if you believe so let me know, is one of the highest ranking sites is a local travel/tourism site that is funded by the tourism development council I've done some more advertising on (it's a PR 6), however I recently changed the links on their site to point to deep links within my site, instead of the main page. Would this change drop the 'link juice' from this site, and would it be enough to drop my PR? I wouldn't think so, as I said I also have bought some other links as well as been doing lots of forum/blog posting with backlinks to my main page.

Somewhere along the line you lost some high PR links or the ones you had lost their links, dropped PR and affected yours. Don't worry about it though. PR doesn't actually mean much.

Yea, PR doesn't mean much. You should worry more about getting traffic to your website and keep them happy ;)

I agree with this, well dropping page rank is just because of some links that you have made and some change at the PR of those sites.
