To merge it with your content, try using text ads. text ads do better with words. Your first ad in your content is on watches while your content is on the new iphone. it is contrasting. Next, you will need to know where your visitors come from. If they are not targeted then there is no use. They will not click. If I were you I would definitely experiment with changing the background of your site to all-white, changing the text colors (your posts) to #333333 (off-black), and placing one 336x280 ad (only text ad - don't pick text and image) above your title of the first post. Then place another 336x280 ad right below the first post. Use these colors for your Adsense ad: Border # FFFFFF Title # 0000FF Background # FFFFFF Text # 333333 URL # 0000FF If you are getting search engine traffic there is no way they won't click the ads on your site after these changes. The reasons are: 1. The human eye loves a clean blog layout. Now yours will be a clean white instead of that dreadful light blue that hurts the eyes. 2. The placement and Adsense text ad color layout I just laid out for you has been earning me a pretty good side income for the last year; it simply works!
i guess the reason may be your content..........i went through your blog,it seems that you don't pay attention in one area, you have posts regarding everything..so the ads also will be diversified.. assume a person log in to your site to read about iphone, but ads are related to something else, obviously he won't click on ads so focus on one area, then you'll get ads related to those topics.
it must be something to do with your traffic. where are your traffic coming from? is it real human traffic? paid so called "adsense safe" traffic that are sent by bots wont convert to a single click. if you are getting taffic from social sites, they may not convert either depending on where you are getting your traffic
I saw your blog. It may need to place your ads in proper position. However you may make more backlinks to get more traffic.
it has been said here, but your ad placement is key. You need to place it in a location that your visitors will want to click on the links. However, that being said, 1000 hits and no clicks can mean that you are not offering the information that they are looking for.
if you got this 1000 from something like stumbleupon, nothing to be worry. you need targeted traffic. that's all
