Total BS yoyo, it's like asking what the definition of is is. There are no racists here except maybe a couple of members that have been banned. And if there are others, they haven't expressed that belief. Nice try trying to get others on the defensive by accusing them of being something or believing in something without giving any proof thereof. If you guys lose an argument, stop coming back with senseless accusations.

You asked a question, I gave you an honest answer. If you only wanted an answer that favored your racist views you shouldn't have asked.

And if you have a problem with Princeton's definition, I suggest you take it up with them. It's obvious a lot of people think discriminating selectively against 1 religion is racist, that's why they keep calling you one. :D

I don't have any feelings of racism. trust me, I know what I feel. And I would love to see Muslims abandon their Quran for some common sense. Kind of how jews did with the Tora.

sorry about the double post, I just want the sane members to see that once again, there is complete silence when a good point is being made. First I am accused of being a racist, then when I make a point, the thread is being ignored. I'm sure yoyo has moved right on to another bash Bush or bash Christians thread.

it never fails ... all we have here is a typical example of smokescreening.

Actually I didn't reply because you made no point other than to selectively discriminate against muslims and nobody esle, again. *Yawn*

I think everyone on DP knows how much you hate and dislike muslims. Mostly over your facsination with the Jewish people who you've never had a bad word for.

Smokescreening? There's plenty of that on DP but it isn't coming from me, you can look to any of will or gtech's thousands of posts for that ;) . I've had enough replying to your same old spiel against muslims. Everyone already knows how you feel.. what's left to say?

I guess you would agree then with the anti pope sentiments, the "stay within your limits" speeches, since you seem to consider any criticism of Islam racism.

If I disagree with, and openly criticize an individual or group for their beliefs, ideas, or actions - that's all ok, and is to be encouraged - discussion, debate, and free speech for everyone etc.

But if they claim these beliefs or actions are part of their religion, then it becomes a race issue?

So the criticism of any political decisions or actions, if they stem from a religious belief, becomes racist? This sounds pretty dangerous to me. I don't want to be labeled a racist so I'd better keep quiet.

Please don't, communication is key to world peace. The smokescreeners, the intolerant, and the true Muslims don't believe in exercising free speech, yoyo doesn't either, which is why he wants everyone who has something real to say about islam, to shut up.

    You really are hilaroius mike.

I'm a big believer in free speech. You can say whatever you want about anything. When people react negatively to your hateful free speech it doesn't mean their against "free speech" it means they don't like your hatred.

"something real to say about islam"... you're a real comedian aren't you! Everything nasty you say about islam can be said about christianity and judaism. Which i have no problem with because it's all true. The funny part is how you *for some reason* selectively hate one and not the other. ;)

ok then how about this: why don't you take a trip to Israel as well as a few Muslim nations, and then come back and report to us about the treatment you have received in each. And oh yeah: the requirement would be for you to put up an "Atheism information booth" in the city center of the main cities that you go to, trying to recruit people for an atheist movement. ;)

I'll have to go by a couple christian churches to figure out the most efficient way of harrassing people into joining my religion. You think they'll share their secrets? :D

Free speach according to liberals: (anything not Christian) and yoyo shows us this by example after example. He tries (and I mean tries) to make everything Christian out to be bigotted, racist, or wrong without facts or any understanding. If he would just read it would be a start, but the assumptions seem to be king in his replies.

If I would "just read" what? Your quacky definition of a "real" christian?. Every time one of you does something bigotted, wrong and ignorant you simply claim it's not "christian" or they aren't "really" christians. The muslims do the exact same thing.

When Bush #1 said atheists shouldn't be considered citizens was there any christian outrage? Were there any christians coming out and saying he was wrong?

people who are "without religion" think it's fine for them to make fun of religion.

If someone making "fun" of (or disagreeing with) your religion hurts your feelings, then you don't really believe 100% in your religion as it is. If someone calls me a stupid white trash s!ut, I couldn't care less, because I know there is zero truth in it. :)

Naw, actually it's bigotry. Religions span too many different races to be a racism issue...

You can "say" it, but you cannot make it true.

The very simple and plain fact is that the followers of Christianity and Judiasm are currently behaving in very proper civilized manners and that the followers of Islam are currently behaving quite improperly.

However much you might hate Christians and Jews, it is intellectually dishonest to claim that their actions are on the same moral level as the actions of our current generation of Islamists.

That reasoning has been explained to you repetitively. It should not need to be explained to you at all, as it is evident to even the most casual -- but open minded -- observer.

And let's not leave the Hindu's or the Buddhists out of this. They aren't running around murdering people at both the wholesale and retail levels, and that certainly deserves a level of recognition.

Religions which are NOT acting badly:
    • Buddhism
    • Hinduism
    • Christianity
    • Judaism
    • Mormonism
    • Atheism
    • Blah
    • Blah
    • Blah
    • Etc...
    • Etc...
    • Etc...
    Religions which ARE acting badly:
    • Islam

    100% Agreed!

Whoever said that must be an idiot! You're too smart to be a slut.

Anyway, responding to your earlier post, nobody can save you from anything except your own self and you don't need religion to get yourself closer to god. Religion is man made, a teaching passed down by people who received enlightment from god and is not "free" from manipulation and wrong interpretation. There is god in yourself, follow the god in you and you will get close to him. As long as you do good things and believe in god, you're a submitter/believer/muslim or whatever they may call you . If god punish you for not following the existing traditional religion though you do good things, it is not god then...
