This is the question, i would like to ask every one who in the field of SEM. As we knew already that Propeller is best social bookmarking site. It has gone last year. Yahoo already announced to shut down delicious. But it still alive. There is no further talk about delicious. What will happen if social bookmarking dies?
Nothing much. The people will move on, and so will the marketers. Something new will come up, we just have to adapt and embrace it before the competition does. Thats the way life is.
Well, just in case... I think something new and different will come up. And for sure something more useful and profitable than social bookmarking... But still no one really knows....
Why we will drop our valuable time by thinking what will happen? We have to think how we can leverage this as much as we can when still available
Thanks for increasing my knowledge. I wasn't aware about "delecious" being shut down by Y!. But IMO stumble, digg & reddit are still very active (both for marketers & Users) . 2011 is going to be a interesting year for these sites & how IM shapes up for the future .
Social bookmarking sites are useful not only for seo marketers, but for real people. So there will always be social bookmarking sites and ofcourse some of them, the best ones would have high traffic.
