    These weren't the real prices we were offering you, as you can see most of the people were saying that you might not let it go for anything less then a k, it was an auction without a BIN right? Thats why people started bidding and it would had continued and possibly would had reached 1000 USD as well.

    The maximum value for this domain maybe $8 to $10 Grand, but not more than that. Although there is no doubt in the fact that the domain name rocks.

    Who said that Garage.com could go for $18k? Its just that the people said that Garage.net isn't worth $18k.. nobody said that they wanted to buy Garage.com for $18k, although if it was going for $18k, it would had been a good deal.

    It's an old, single word, TLD. Whether anyone wants to pay $18k it's worth it. Now that doesnt mean he'll get it. Industry has a lot to do with it and Garage is pretty generic.

    I have domains valued at 1.5mil, but was only offered $500k for them. So it's all what people are willing to pay.

    Again it's the industry. Domain names are real estate. it's all about location, location, location...

    It also helps that my sites in most cases are industry leaders, old, outrank industry "monsters" spending millions a year to be under me :eek: :D
