Paypal Dispute over a email sent to 160000 done by my affiliate where do I stand?

Ok today some guy lodged a complaint with paypal, he is claiming that a email I had sent for him which cost $22 was sent via fake traffic or something, he also has said that the traffic has come from many different destinations, which is has?

The thing is I am pretty sure this guy is lying to try and get this for free as he has already received the traffic now he wants a re fund lol, I have been working with this affiliate for a very long time and I know for certain he is 100% legit, his emails are sent to a vast amount off people only opt in list to various sites this traffic is 100% genuine I even know its genuine as I tested it on a 0-traffic site and some of the visitors from it clicked on the adds, if its fake traffic how can people click on adds??????

Where do I even stand in this case, I think its very ambiguous that this guy has sent this complaint and another strange factor is that i did this service for the guy around 2 months ago? why has he left it so late to complain?
Also this service was a electronic service so i dont know if its even worth the complaints, how can he claim any thing he could just photoshop documents and make up lies.

What will pay pal even do to me, will they cut down my account? I wish this guy had contacted me earlier and tried to negotiate something else, I would have done some other type of advertising for free if he was un happy as I am a generous and understanding type off person not some dodgy rip off merchant lie he is claming me to be n this paypal dispute. Yet he has not even contacted me he has simply left the complaint and typed up this very accusing and insulting message to paypal, which is full of lies.

All this over only 22 dollars maybe I should cut my losses and just give this cheaters a re fund, or shoudl I just provide all my stats and proove this guy is tellign lies.

    thanks.

To be totally honest, I would likely refund the $22 and be done with it. Long drawn out disputes like that can be not only tedious, but difficult to prove one way or the other. I would not admit to wrongdoing if you are innocent of the allegations, but offer the refund for time's sake.

Paypal wouldn't have given this guy his money back - they don't provide payment protection for 'service' (no physical goods) purchases.

If you have a good payment history with PayPal they are unlikely to have locked your account or anything, but there's no guarantee of that.

Although you would probably have kept the money and this fraudster would have lost, I think I would have done the same as you and issued a refund - the small risk of your Paypal account being closed just isn't worth it for $20.

umm no I was the one who gave the guy a re fund, Pay Pal didn't do any thing at all.

If I left it up to paypal the guy would not have seen any re fund at all.

I am a honest seller, not some rip of merchant or a scam artist like this guy was claming me to be. The work was done by a affiliate of mine and not by me so how can I be sure where his traffic is comming from I just took his word, the job was done 2 months ago i dont even deal with the affiliate any more.

I think noopid needs to learn better communication skills, a simple pm to me would ahve saved all these dramas from even happening.

    case closed...

    thank you

Easy now, he posted a screenshot of it so I was only relaying that information. I don't remember using the words scam artist or anything else

As Shawn alsready said when he closed the other thread, take it to PM

so you havnt noticed the thread

"Beware Connections. A scammer selling fake traffic!"

he started this thread even after his re fund was given, then proceded to go to every sale I had and give me very negative feedback.

can all these threads be closed now..

    thank you
