Is It Advisable to Remove Web Pages From Web Site?

    I am working on eCommerce website. On my web site there are many category pages without products.

    So, is it advisable to remove that web pages from web site?

    All pages were indexed by Google & links are available on home page in drop down navigation, left navigation & footer.

    So, Will it create any bad effect on my current organic performance?

    There is not any bad effect on your current organic site performance if your category pages are blanks. But try to add products as soon as possible if these pages indexed. It might help you to get better SERP.

    Yeah, Its better to add contents on that pages rather than removing it, otherwise the people that directly comes to those pages generally bounces back.

    If there are no products on that pages, then you can remove them from website. When you have products for such pages then upload it & optimized it for such specific products...

    If your site is getting traffic then there will be not a big issue. But don't promote this webpages till you add any product there and try to add some products there asap.
