I can't upload anything atm, dunno if the speed is really slow or there's other problems but the upload would not finish no matter how long I waited. Anybody else having the same problem?

 

Speed and timer works in upload box? or just a blank white screen?

 

Just a blank white screen. Btw one of the files finished uploading after about 20 mins for an under 200MB file the other gave me "Gateway Time-out" error

Edit: Hmm seems to be running OK now, the problem looks to be gone as quickly as it came.

 

a few people told me they've experienced problems downloading. After clicking on 'free' they just return to the homepage

 

Some times due to upgradation of our site these type of problems occurs but our tech team make it sure to remove it as fast as possible.

Same as above, I am sure it is solved by now!

 

it seems you can bypass the wait times by posting the direct link. I was experimenting with it and found I had to wait 5 minutes for the next file, then grabbed the direct link and it started downloading. I tried this in another browser logged out so it sees me as a regular user. Is it suppose to be like this? It makes it easier for downloaders if we can post the direct links instead of the normal one.

 

We also care for the downloaders that's why have implemented just 5 minutes wait time instead of half an hour, this is also beneficial to you because the users will buy premium and you'll get revenue for it.

For our survival, we have to implement some restrictions and we'll be really grateful to all of you if you urge your users to buy premium if they don't want to wait, 5 minutes are still a problem for them?

Also it's better if you remove your method because it can make 5 minutes wait time pointless.

I'll also contact our tech team to remove this problem!

I'm not posting direct links, I just stumbled upon it by accident. I wondered why there were 2 options, 'download' and 'get direct link'. So I was messing around with it and saw the direct method could just bypass the timer

are free users speeds capped? I dont know about premium since I dont have an account, but with hotfile I always got the max speeds and their server is located in Panama I think. How fast are speeds for free users? I'm only getting around 100-200kbps

 

That's just because of you..
I hope you remember that while making a site I was so afraid of not getting the results but its now paying off, slowly but steadily..

Have you checked that "Fixed Half an Hour Downtime" problem..???

There is one more way to bypass this 5 minutes and even get resumable downloads + parallel downloads without any premium..

I will send you a PM about that because it can be misused if opened in public.

Free users speeds I think are capped but even after the speeds being capped the free users get very very good speed..

I've got the following stats :

Total Bulk Downloads: 111517
Total Unique Downloads: 19743

Do you think I can earn in Megashare more than the others ?
Because the other file hosts count also bulk downloads so it's 111517 downloads , let's say the rate is 17 dollar /1000 (Big files in fileserve etc... it"s more than 20 let's consider it's only 17 ) ( My downloads 80% WESTERN EUROPE / 20% CANADA /USA/OTHERS ) ; so my earning will be at least 1895$ ;

In Megashare I have only : 19743 unique downloads ; and it's the only downloads counted .


Well I'll wait and see the payement in the end of the month .

 

Download Speed is the only feature we never get complaint about it. Our speed is relatively good and users are satisfied.

You mean you would have 111517 downloads if you were on the other host in the same time you got 19743 downloads on Megashare???

Well, I am amazed. you can't even reach 19743 downloads on any file host in the same time.

I have personally tried all file hosts in the market and I can assure you that no one can give you more money and downloads except Megashare.

It may be because of DMCA. It happened with all of the users here.

 

Can't upload again now, been this way for about an hour. I'm just getting a blank white screen and the download never finishing.

Edit: Its giving me this error message "Gateway Time-out - The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application."

 

Sorry for the trouble, Even though our tech department would be working on it but however I have sent them a fast message. Hope to see results shortly.

 

They must have fixed it!! Uploadings . What a revelation ~ a fault gets reported then gets fixed almost straight away. Pretty cool support
