What should be the cost of wordpress site?

I design wordpress sites. But generally I charge lowest possible to me. This is because I was new in the website design field. Now I want to increase charges. Please suggest me how much should I charge for a wordpress site? I am from Chhattisgarh State of Bharat(India).

I'm not sure what you are charging people, but most of the premium, non-customized themes I see online for Wordpress generally go for about $25 to $60 depending on the quality. I would look into selling your themes on somewhere like themeforest.com if you haven't already done so.

Thanks, But I am asking for "developing custom themes". And the price should not be minimum price. It should be average market price.

 

For developing new themes i think the cost is 30$-50$ so you can fix price Rs.1500 to Rs.2500 according to designs and options.

 

BigRock offers websites for just Rs. 99 Per Month. They even advertise their stuff on TV. There's a lot of competition out there.

I'll suggest you offer different packages at affordable prices for your customers.

A good wordpress custom theme can range from $1,000 to $10,000 and sometimes above depending on who's designing it and its complexity.

$350 is a good price it. But it's what the client wants and wants to pay basically. More features make it more expensive obviously.

1. Domain price: Check for best option. You may get it in INR375/- also.
2. Hosting: Depends on your need. Vary from INR 400/- to INR 3000/-
3. Wordpress installation and plugin integration: INR 1000/-
4. Designing a custom template: INR 2500/-

kidding me? in INR 99 they just give you .in and 3rd level .in domain whose renewal price is INR 650/- and INR 450/- on their site. Secondly, there is nothing called as competition in market. the better service you provide the more you can charge.

I never understand why people fall for such stupid advertisements!

 

A website costs the same amount as a car.

You can get them for free (excluding domain) and you can pay over $100,000 for them. The price difference should reflect a combination of what the client is actually getting and your reputation.
