I see a lot of people asking, 'how many sites do I need to earn 100$' or 'I just earned 100$ with 40 sites', you guys should know that that is stupid. If you focus on one site, you will easily get a bigger traffic, and also visitors that will come by everyday. I honestly don't think that on any of your blogs, you get people who has been there before. If you have over 100 blogs, you can't focus on it all, and you will lose visitors by time. If you have one site, and maintain it well, you could just spend 5 mins a day with the site, then you can just sit back and relax. Once it famous, it will also spread by mouth and you won't have to do anything! When you have 100 blogs, think of it - posting one content post everyday could take hours, and you eventually only get 10-1000 visitors to them. With only one site, you'd be more focused, the more you are focused on one site, you'll earn more. AND; another tip - You should NEVER create a financial blog unless you know what you are talking about, same with all other niches - if you know what you are talking about, you will get visitors who will come back everyday, because they like the blog/site. Good luck, I haven't used AdSense myself, I have yet only used private advertisers, giving me up to 3000$ per month - so I know what I am talking about. (I do only own 1 site)
good advice, my only comment would be that if you are working in a very small niche and you have a large market share in that niche then maybe it is time to move on and create another niche,
Actually I like the idea about multiple streams of income, the book with the same name (by Robert Allen) is probably one of the best I read, but overall I agree. Work on one single project, and when you feel you can handle it easy, and still have time, start another one. But don't do multitasking if you can't handle it.
I fully understand what you mean by you should focus on one site and one site only in order to dominate the niche your site is targeting, however, I find effective time management (very effective time management) and motivation (get down to the gym or something, alter your mindset if you lack motivation (like I did)) reaps much better results than letting yourself be restricted to just the one site. If you're making enough of the one site, why not employ people to maintain it from time to time whilst you work on your next project, etc...
the other problem with one site is that if it is your only form of income and the sittuation changes ( a new bigger better website overtakes you or that market changes significantly) you could lose a massive chunk of your income
$3000 a month is good i must say. I also think it depends on the individual and niche when it comes to how many sites one should own.
It does seem like good advice. However, the problem is, sometimes the niche is restricted and therefore you have to expand into other niches. It is happening with me right now. I started out quite small because I was still learning and now I feel a little restricted. The growth can hit a ceiling soon. I would tend to agree with you in theory but hope my next project will be bigger and more ambitious!
Absolutely agree focus on one site - I've been there trying to do several and it almost always ends in tears. That why I just gave up for months. We all need results both financial but also mentally you need to know you're doing it right, getting results.
Our idea is to making money online to hit every viral and high paid niche online But most importantly if you got some info on that .So for eg you are working on 10 different niches you make more instead of one .But its ture with one you can do a batter focus .
$3000 is a good month with one website, may be its high niche, i think so. Anyway thats nice, because 100 sites, we have to check daily daily its difficult.
Well I think if your one project so successful and established site then you should try something else.I mean you never know until you try.But never do too much with your experiments.
yes, its good to concentrate on one site only. one of my friend is earcning 900$ from his site per day. i mean $900/day :O adsense ! his last month income was 28000$ ..and this is really not a joke. He is earning
It depends on your situation. If you know enough about a particular niche to create a large site that will dominate or at least be placed well in serps for that niche, then yes, go for one site. Creatin one dominating site requires a lot of time though, arguably more than it would to create and maintain 50~ blogs. Also theres the problem of putting all your eggs in one basket, depending on one site will never be great for a long-term passive income... If any competitors crop up it will gimp your income, whereas if one of your 50 blogs is overtaken in serps it won't really matter. There's no black and white answer as to whether you should focus on one site or not, if it works for you thats great, but running masses or blogs works for a lot of other people too, so it can't be a bad idea.
Those who can't focus on one site, try micro niche marketing. Make small micro niche sites targeting specific keywords and make it large by adding pages which also must be long tail keywords targeted....ANyway thankx for this post
