Keyword ranks are different..

Hi All

Initially I am targeting some of the keywords and most of them are ranking at first page of Google but wen I append "&gl=us" to search query ..the results are different. So how we can get the rankings at different Geo location. For ex : USA..
Please advice me ...Thanks in advance.

 

Add &des=us in your searched page too see usa keyword position..
before u are finding keyword position in google, log out ur gmail,clear all cookies in the browser.
use Internet explorer to see keyword position

 

So how to improve rankings for specific geographical location...?

 

There is a fantastic Firefox plugin that solves this for you - "google global". You do your search and then select from a drop down of countries what you want to see the result for

Dear if your are famillier with Local Search Engine Optimization then that should not be a problem, you should focus on local market of US region, like if do you think that your most number of traffic come from New York then target local market of NY and post to Local Business Directories, Forums, Classifieds etc

If you want to improve rankings for specific geographical location then should use that geographical search engine during seo promotion.

Local Search Engine Optimization like "Google Local" will be the most advantageous and yes, you also can submit your site, articles, blogs, bookmarks in specific directory... There are some directories targeting only specific country... Try it out, you may get the handsome result out of it..

go to browser use google toolbar option then select regine that you want..

 

You want to promote your site targeting specific ccTLD's.

For example: If you want to improve your rankings in google.com.au. Try to get more backlinks from .au domains.

 

Exactly correct answer.I'm agree with you.If we want ranking in US then we should do submission in the directories of US that target the US region.
It is the best way for improving the ranking of keywords at another location.
