Paypal India - Can i send payments to outside India ?

Hello DP members! Had a query regarding paypal India. Well I'm from India and I know that personal payments are disabled to india. But can i send payments to other users who are outside India. Or is that disabled as well ? Tried a lot of googling in vain. Please help. Thanks

acctually, i have friend from india but she can send me money from philippines.. in fact she made an exchange funds..

You can withdraw money to your bank account anytime. I have my HDFC account registered with PayPal, and I withdraw from my PayPal account to that account all the time. I have the PayPal account in USDs, and I get Rs in the bank, after a currency exchange done by PayPal.

About sending money outside, it has two parts to it. First is depositing money from your bank account to your PayPal account, second is paying someone ( out of India). I have done the second part, but not the first part, because I never have to transfer money from my bank account to PayPal ( as a freelance writer, all incomings for me!). I have paid an American webhosting companies etc from what I have earned in dollars.

I suppose you can do the first part too. Though you will how to look up how to do it. ( search google - there are sites specially made for this)

Also, you can receive money from UK/US or other accounts too, and you will receive the money in whatever is the primary currency of your account. Or in USD.

You can send money to any one outside India who is having paypal account but as of now you can't send personal payment even to outsiders. Just send them as service or goods.

 

I tried once by sending it via Personal option but it was disabled. So you can not send Personal payment outside Indian as well.

 

You can certainly send payment to anybody living outside India.

Yes you can send it without any problem. Paypal is a payment which supports most of the countries

The source of any outgoing funds has to be a credit card. You can't just use paypal balance effective 1st March to send payments.

 

Yes! Credit card is for verification to your paypal account and u'll unlimited receive and sending money..

There's no need to panic. Read the Paypal message and understand it carefully. You can make purchases, but not thru cash balance anymore, but thru linked credit card on account. The incoming cash should be withdrawn to bank account. That's all it says. And yes, incoming cash cannot be more than $500. Don't tell me you guys sell stuff worth over $500? This will affect only large exporters, not normal general users.

 

Anyway paypal keep on changing rules,This is tough for both seller and buyer like me.

 

You can send payments outside India, but send them as services or goods. Personal payment cannot be sent.
