Hello,

I am looking for both a logo and a leaderboard for my new personal art portfolio website.

My website and business name is "Artlicious". This is a very catchy fun name and hopefully you will have fun designing something for me. My slogan is "treat your eyes", all lower case letters.

BONUS :If I get better than expected results and I am extremely pleased with the design I will add links to your logo design company on my website and give you credit for designing my logo.
Contest End Date & Time : 1-27-11, 6pm.
I may extend this contest once and only once, by 3 days, if not pleased with the designs submitted or if I'm waiting for revisions. If that happens, at the end of those days I guarantee that 3 winners will be chosen!!
Size Requirements : 2 logo sizes, one small, one larger. 1 Header size, 768x90
Color Requirements : black, red, white, silver
Additional Information : Please try to draw inspiration both from my site name, Artlicious, and from my abstract artwork on my site.

The Logo:
Feel free to get creative with the logo. I want something that is unique, original and good enough that I can get a stamp and stamp the backs of my paintings with it. Artlicious is a combination of Delicious and Art, so a lot of people want to make something with a mouth or a tounge. This is ok, but I think I would prefer a "feed your eyes" approach.. so something with "hungry eyes" might be better.. but I am open to, and would like to see a variety of designs. I also like geometrical designs that use blocks, circle and lines. The logo should be something that looks good small and I would like a copy of the finished logo in black and white as well.

The Leaderboard / Header
This should be 728x90. I want it to incorporate the site logo and the name, Artlicious. As well as the slogan, "treat your eyes", in lowercase letters. I also would like to see a couple to a few or more images from some of my paintings in there. Whether it's used as a background, faded. Or piecies from different paintings pieced together to make a collage, or couple small sections from a couple different paintings. Whatever you can do to include a small taste of what my artwork looks like in the header.

I am going to be using this on my website, business cards, flyers, and possibly stamp the back of my artwork the the logo. Please, please make it look professorial and original! You have my permission to use my artwork in your creations for this contest and only this contest. You CANNOT use images of my artwork, in any way, for any purpose after this deal has been finalized.

Thanks for all the designs so-far.. I will leave feedback on each one shortly, I just wanted to mention that it might be wise to just to the logo first, alone. And let me see if I like it before you start working on the header, since the header should contain the logo somewhere.

Turtlepod. Way too much color and too large. I really don't care for the font either or the white block at the end. Thanks for the try. maybe something black, red or white?

 

I don't like the logo much, it reminds me of a revolution or something.. not really what I'm trying to go for. lol The font for Artlicious is too crazy and I don't like the thick white border around the red letters. The font for the slogan is ok, but too large.

 

This is interesting.

I don't care for the blocks spelling 'art', maybe if they were overlapping or staggered more or something.. not sure. and I think the header would look better if the painting on one side, faded into a black background.. then the logo could overlap the black and go, right, into the painting and slogan.
I don't like the font for the slogan.
The tongue for a 'u' is interesting and I am still thinking about it.

Hi Walton,

The 'A' logo is interesting but is it original? The font for artlicious is cool but it needs to stand out more.
I don't like the colorful background and would prefer either a black texture or my artwork cut and pasted together, or in a fade or something.
I want my slogan to be in lower case letters.

This is pretty cool.. The 'a' logo with an eye look to it is really creative but I feel like it looks similar to something I've already seen. Not sure. But it does look nice. It might look better with a red, background or a bit larger or something. Tweeked, somehow.

The font for is nice.

On the top logo it would be cool if "artlicious" had a capital "a" and wrapped around the side of the logo. And then if "treat your eyes" was spelled down the right side of the logo. Maybe even if the name and slogan shared the last 's'. ? ?

The logo does stand out but it looks somewhat industrial. I kinda like it but I'm in debate. Perhaps a capital A, in black would be better? and the silver out layer could be filled in with a clip from one of my paintings? maybe "Futile". ? I don't care much for the name, it might be the font or the white border on the letters. the font on the slogan looks great!
the header background is nice, but I am thinking about it still.

Pretty cool hungry eyes, I must admit!! But I'm just not sure about it. Might be the hands with the knife and fork. What if it were just the eyes alone? Maybe with slogan or name under them or somehow a part of them? They eyes do look cool, without the hands. I can see that being the start to a great logo.
