I still use XP, does everything I want and has no compatibility problems with any hardware or software. If I was going to switch to a new os, I would wait at least two years from launch so a lot of bugs and issues are ironed out.
In the meantime, corporations are showing little interest in Windows7 while eyeing Apple's iPad instead. Talking about Windows8 being under way is rather silly. In any corporate environment, the next generation is started on as soon as the current is finished. This blog post is only stating the obvious.
wow its great win 7 is better then all other OS let me see then nest win 8 its going to another great release from MICROSOFT thank you
I am very happy with my windows 7, I think this is the best windows created by microsoft, and in second place will be xp, and last place vista (the worse operating system ever)
I use Windows 7 on my computer since beta. Have to say it works way better than Vista and also from the old XP. But unfortunately, most older machines might have some problems with it. On my system I have no any compatibility problems with it, and I can say this is the only Windows version that works best for my hardware.
Windows 7 definitely runs faster than Vista but nothing beats XP 64 bit if you're talking Windows. In any case, they still fall far under just about any linux distro and OSX of course.
Lets wait for its release. Until Microsoft gives more details on this, please stop speculating. You don't win anything by doing that.
