We cannot completely give everything to plugins can we? I did not quite understand what you referred to, if you are talking about auto adding categories, then automatically wordpress posts to a default category. post that we should be able to select which all to add under. just curious, is this for autoblogging you are referring to? cheers Josh
I think he is talking about auto-assigning a category to an article that is being submitted to his blog. My recommendation is to use wp_list_categories() in the form you are using for article submission and let the author choose it. Obviously the post is going to sit in the queue until an editor approves it, right? At least, the information will be set and editable if incorrect.
