hey, Finally it happned. Yahoo is changing their mailing service. its only today I noticed that yahoo mail offered beta version of Y!Mail anyone of you noticed? Its quite satisfactory experience for me. I guess their aim is to challenge GMail.
but they offered it to me only today.. I checked my mails yesterday and it was same old thing. anyway, is it better than the previous one? i used it for couple of mins..
Anyway I prefered not using the beta version, because it takes time to checking your inbox but the user interface far more better than the old one.
Damn... I think you people were not aware that Yahoo Mail Beta was provide to users from jan 2006 onwards. I had my Yahoo Mail Beta in March 2006. Still I think there are many other users who dont know about it. For more you should read this thread. Yahoo Mail Beta Signups All you have to do it get on the waiting list. and you'll get in a few week. (usually in 1 week or lesser)
The thing about Yahoo, they always do something after somebody else has already done it. Why won't they get enough balls one day, and make a move themselves first.
By telling people you had it back in january while some are just acquiring it now, does that make youre-penis go from (_))!!!D to (_))!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!D or something? I am just curious.
hee hee! Great comment An0n! So, ya, for me it loads so slowly that I switched back to the old version. zerohex
It is really loading slow. My connection speed wasn't slow. I switched back after trying. I really hope they speed things up.
I've been using the beta version for months and I just recently switched back to the old one because the new one is frustratingly slow. It has cool functionalities but I hate the way it has to load a new image on the right side every time you try to do something which slows it down. The worst part is that they aren't even ads. They are tips about how to use Yahoo mail beta which I don't need nor want to see. I'd rather have more space. There should be an option of hiding that if you don't want to see tips. Hopefully they will do something about this so I can take advantage of the cool features in the new yahoo mail.
To add onto that, I dont like that I don't see my mail right away. I see news and other garbage. I want my mail as soon as i log-in.
I've been using it for a while now and it loads slow....rarely works in IE7 in Vista. but I bear with it because its my secondary email address. My primary email is with GMAIL.
