Well I have a website I just recently got up and running. I have over 1000 unique visits and not a single person has clicked on my ad apparently. The reason for this I think is becuase the AD I have has nothing to do with my website (Monsterstatus.com) how do I change the add to something more relevant to my website, like for example a Personal Trainer AD, or a supplement or anything? I've been looking around and it says google decides what ad you get according to your website, but obviously something went wrong because the ad so so irrelevent.

I'm seeing adsense's public service ads on your website. You don't get earnings from those.

It takes some time to show relevant ads. Wait a few days

I'm getting Public service ads, which usually means they haven't found a relevant ad to put there. Why don't you try some text or link ads. Maybe the advertisers for that topic don't use a lot of image ads?

Hmm that would explain that. So from what I understand, I have to wait for google to realize what my site is about and then they will make an ad targeting that topic?

Oh and for the link ads, there are websites similiar to mine with pictures ads such as Geneticwar.com, as you can see they have a personal trainer ad. I'd like that same ad on my site.

You should definitely give Google some time. Alternatively, if you see websites similar to yours getting specific ads that you like, perhaps you can contact those sites directly (the one whose ad you would like through Google) and see if they are interested to advertise on your site. This way you can get some good ad revenue sans Google.

You might want to look into your robots.txt as well, I'm seeing:
    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /

This is the part that does not do justice... how is a new website that you so recently got up and running get 1000 unique visits?
where is your traffic coming from and what part of it is from search engines?

i checked your site, and i could not find any ads at first, then i saw a block of ads on your sidebar... so here is the suggestion: get a 336*280 rectangle ads block right at the top of your blog post surrounded by the content. Since it is a wordpress blog, try the why-do-work adsense plugin, it is good.

you have got a public service ad at the moment, that happens when you put the ad at first. Later, with time, when the adsense bot gives a crawl, you will get more relevant ads. There is section targeting for getting relevant ads, but you don't need to do all that. just have patience and you will get related ads in time.

    regards,
    Uttoran Sen,

The reason I have those views is because the fitnesmodels I interviewd posted a link to the article on their FB fan page with most of them over 10K fans.

and thanks for the info, I now understand.

social media traffic does not convert well, that can be a reason why no one click the ads. Even if your ads are targeted you will still get a far less click through with social media traffic when compared with search traffic.

Just be patient and you will get more relevant ads after time gone day by day.
    So don't worry!!!
