    Hello everybody,

I have got a question. Right now, I am working on my web-sites. Niche is Medicine and I will have about 50 domains. I want to submit them all into directories but I I need your help.

May you tell me, how many directories is accurate for one site? I know, that the right answer is "as many as possible", but is there some "number"? I dont know, something like 100 for each?

Thank you for all your answers and help!! :)

In my opinion "as many as possible" is not the answer. If your sites are brand new you want to submit to directories gradually at first. You should also get links from a range of different site types like forums, blogs, social media or websites.

As many as possible but with the niche category...For getting more directories, you can also check your competitors sites to see where they submitted their sites..it will also help you to get more directories related to your niche category...

for a new site one has to be careful.

I had a problem once when an outsourcer submitted 3 sites of mine to directories with an auto program - all the site he submitted had the www in the url and normally the site was ranking for 1 and a half years with no www. Then after he submitted to all the directories with the url including the www - google re-indexed my site and dropped the no www in rankings and did not read the near 700 links and just indexed the www url with only 12 links

so be careful when submitting the url - keep it consistant - either all www no as is most common today with no www

as many as possible is stii the answer, if you have that many sites to submit, just start submitting each to a few hundred, finish submitting all and then start over, more inbound links are better always.

As many as possible is the answer. However dont just go submitting to hundreds at first and then leave it. 5-10 a day over time will benefit your site more.

if this is a general web directory, it may have hundreds of category or more.
if it's a niche directory that particularly focus on specific fields, such as shopping, adult, gambling, the number of category will be limited.

Good points, and raises several issues that ought to be addressed with any potential outsource contractor.

Letting someone that doesn't know those things handle your marketing effort is like handing your car keys and a bottle of bourbon to a random homeless guy and expecting him to ensure the safety of your vehicle.

Based on my experience if you submit more the better, but on the first time you submit try to submit your site in 50 directories and 10 directory sites every other day for most effective campaign.

I would like to say use high PR sites only for promotion do not waste the time in submitting zero PR sites.

I think 100 is enough. However, you should use directory submission sites with high PR. If directory submission sites are high, less 100 are also ok.

I would like to suggest you submit in good PR directories this method gives you more return than the submissions in new directories.
