Thank you! It took me exactly 8 months to hit the 1k/month mark. I was so hyped when it hit because that was my initial goal. I was thinking that if I hit the 1k I can live off only AS. Well, it's been 1 year since then and 2 months ago I hit the $4k mark. It's like a rolling snowball, it gets bigger exponentially. So, if you're making $100/ month now, hang in there, keep on going and soon it will be 200-400-800-1600 and so on. It also gets easier as you get more experience.

Adsense pay you when your site gets a lots of targeted traffic and it contains a lost of targeted keywords and article. Targeted words does not means fill your website with only keywords i mean spin some sort of article around them.
In life there are no schemes where you can get rich quickly. Unless you win the lottery. But usually it takes hard time and dedicated to make something profitable. So I agree with the OP.

Kentopt, Hitting 1k/month in just 8 months struggle is nearly impossible to me. I started dealing with adsense last November 2010 and right now I'm earning $7/day.. I hope I can make it soon.
You need to work hard , do some seo , link building ... get some ways to get traffic besides search engines
