Hi Everyone,

I need a Header graphics design for a new site http://acorneducation.com.sg/

This Tuition Services site is for children age 6-16 years old, main student base are Chinese.

These are the description and requirement for the header:

1. Logo
Logo of the site is at http://acorntrail.s3.amazonaws.com/acorn_logo_color.jpg
Use the big logo on the Top, and use the name of the company in the header with different fonts and color, you can try using
different color in the text like one color per word, or 2 color for whole company name, as look as it fit the Look and Feel description
below.

2. Look and Feel
I want the header to blend into the site and look Professional and Clean.
You can add icon, images or picture in the header design, as long as it fit the natural of the business: Education and description
of the business:
This Tuition Services site is for children age 6-16 years old, main student base are Chinese.

Please do not follow this design, it is just a sample and it doesn't fit into the business description and also the look and feel.
(the site is NOT for university)

3. Format and Complete job Delivery
- Create job in PSD
- Show me the job here, no not PM me.
- Show job in two display mode
1) the header itself
2) the header together with the site.

4. Timeline
I would want to finish in 72 hours, however if the ideal design is not found, I might extend the contest for another 48 hours.

5. Communication
I will be answering to any questions as soon as I can, so please ask any thing that can help you along.

6. Dimension
Sorry webmaster is away, I do not have the exact dimension of the header, try to do it as close as the site.

If anyone can teach me how to find out the dimension of the header from Wordpress, that will be a great help.

7. Other notes-Read these CAREFULLY as I do not want any conflict
- The winner designer must be willing to do minor adjustment even after the contest is finalize.

- I will need another version of the same header with another company name, but other details will stay.
It is a sub company within the same site.

- If the second version needs to change any other things than company name, a extra $10-$15 will be given depends
the level of difficulty in the design.

Quick update: The dimension of the header is 960x240px

 

Sorry the logo is not appearing...

 

I have tested a few times and it's fine on my side, you try:
1. Right click and open to new tab to see the logo, an then right click at image and "save as" to
your computer.
2. Faster way is to right click at the URL and "save as" to your computer.

Please tell me if it works.

 

When I clicked link to view it didnt work..however the 2nd method worked fine..Thanks! Sooo next question do you have the logo in png format or as a transparent file??

 

Sorry, that is the only format I have.

 

Hmmm okay...still possible just a bit more work...kinda thrown as to what you are looking for tho , the logo and site are quite different...Also the sizes you gave for the header are quite a bit larger then what there are you planning to change it??

Thanks for the extra hard work, but the logo was the only one I have, the designer resigned
from the company I ordered.

In fact I like the overall look, just that we don't need a tagline below the the company name,
because we already have a tagline in the logo, but thanks for walking the extra mile.

Please shift the company name slightly lower, and try to improve on the right side of the logo
with some design.

Overall the look and feel is nice, just some minor points didn't met my requirement, hope you can
take note.

#1 As in the instructions, the target student is 6-16 years old, is not for university.
#2 The white color part didn't blend into the background in the overall look, maybe you can do a
grow effect from the people instead.

Just some of my thoughts, hope you don't mind.

 

removed tag line and added a graphic.. If you have input on what youd like to see there in its place please let me know...honestly not sure ...
