Down for me, oh well. Toolbar showing domain as PR1 but some internal pages as PR2, I'll leave it be for a few days and recheck.
Yes it's true, my page rank jump : from 0 to 3 from 2 to 4 from 3 to 4 from 4 to 5 but unfortunately from 6 to 5 and all six my PR1 drop to 0... this major update is produce good result for most lovers of Page Rank (checked from my webs and my friend's webs) congrats!
This really makes a ton of sense... here are my results from today: - a personal blog about my kids that I've done almost no SEO on, that I haven't even touched or looked at since last march... PR1 to PR2 - another site that's a year and a half old that I haven't done much with in the past few months... PR2 (unchanged) - another site that's been online since May, which I've been working on and which is on page 1 and 2 for some of the keywords I've been targetting... PR0 (unchanged)
Wow, yes... my blog about children up from PR3 to PR4, and my friends personal blog up from 1 to 2 (all web with no SEO, just ordinary blog)
Now that PageRank seems to have had a major update at long last, I've got a question... Now I want to start out by saying I'm not looking to sell links (really... not sure who would buy them anyway). And I'm not suggesting that PR is a major concern. I just think my lack of updates (to the sites I was more concerned with at any rate) is a symptom of something. I thought I was doing ok for the keywords I was trying for. If my PR really is 0 for the pages of that site, maybe by fixing what is wrong I can get more keywords on page 1...? Is there any way to diagnose the problem (with real PageRank, not talking about toolbar PageRank)? I think there are still some people in my situation.
the articles directory in my sign still PR3 .. But I have several other websites updated today .. So yes I confirm the PR update.
The PR that you see in the toolbar are not the "real PR", the toolbar is just a screenshot for months ago. So, your website maybe has higher PR, you just don't know
*sigh* I thought I had made it clear in my post that I know what the difference was between the PR that google uses internally and the PR that shows in the toolbar (well, shows for most people, the indicator never works for me). I am intimately aware of what you have said. If something is wrong with my site I'd like to be able to address it, though...
Yes! Finaly PR update has been done! http://www.google-pr.net to check pagerank for multiple websites. Cheers.
Let's see... site that went from PR1 to PR2 - 134 inlinks in Yahoo site explorer - 17 total links in GWT site that's relegated to PR0 - 1276 inlinks in Yahoo site explorer - 70685 total links in GWT Are there any penalty checking tools (that work)?
