I just wanted to let other people not to misunderstand my previous post. I bought a PR5 expired domain a couple of months ago without doing some research about expired domain and later found out that Google usually remove back links from expired domain once domain registration information has changed. In my Google webmaster tools, that domain has 0 back link. So my expired PR5 domain might be PR0 now. Currently that domain still has PR5, which means this PR update is assumed not up-to-date. Just FYI.
although i would love that google do update it again on 31st jan, i doubt it that it will happen as it will be only 10 days from now...
even i doubt but some source says it was update for blog of april-july or before these months. Blogs after July didn't get any PR updates. so, it may be true.
yes finally after a very long time there is a PR Update .many of our websites have a PR Update , thank GOD
I really care less for pagerank (I dont sell links) but it was still a great update for me. PRO to PR1 PR0 to PR3 PR3 to PR4 PR2 to PR3 PR0 to PR3 PR3 to PR2 Rest of our sites remained the same (so far)
Hi, thats not true. I have a site I first registered back on 7/23/2010 and did not do a thing till last December and now its PR1. This is the most recent PR update...what someone thinks google has a back log or the can careless for a backlog?
Google is so weird. only 3 out of 41 of my sites changed. The ones I built links for didn't change but sites I did nothing to went up a lot.. I have one site that is a year old and has over 12,000 links to it built over time and a PR0. It don't really matter to me because I focus on Adsense earnings but it sure would be nice to have PR so I feel like my time has been worth it.
It's so strange, I ran some checks on bulk PR checkers and I got results, but when I open the domain with the browser the toolbars shows PR0. for example I used this tool: http://www.seoranksmart.com/tools/pr.php
WOW, i must say that this thread is impressive.... The thread was started this morning, Thursday, Jan. 20th, 2011... And there are already closed to 2000 views, already 7 pages of replies, at 134 posts.... Holy Crap! You guys really love PR, huh? Mark my words here and listen to me.... PR is only 1 thing out of the 200 items that Google takes into consideration when ranking a site... Which is really crappy if you ask me... Not to mention, Cutts himself says to NOT pay any attention to PR... Come ON MAN! BUT - for whatever its worth... The PR did update today and my site actually went from PR-3 to PR-8....
I have a domain that went from PR0 to PR4 in one update Also my personal site went to PR5 from PR4 today
