I see a lot of people on this forum than can barely speak/type english, yet they all want a shot a making it big and getting rich overnight. You must understand that making money with AdSense requires A LOT of dedication and time. Yes, the success stories are juicy and they should drive you to become successful, but don't think for a second that the people behind the stories got there quickly. They most likely spent months or years earning mere cents or a few dollars in the beginning. Don't get fooled by the fact that from the exterior the process looks easy: make page, post content, get backlinks, make money. Yes, it is that easy if you sumarize it in a few words, but in actuality those 3-4 steps are a ton more detailed and complicated, maybe more complicated than learning a new programming language, web design, or a new job. Actually, being successful with AdSense, it is almost like a job and at times it requires much more effort than a 9 to 5 job. The difference between AdSense and most jobs is that AdSense requires a lot more information that you need to know and master. My advice to everyone just starting out, is to NOT start... not just yet at least. Read more on this forum and everywhere else you can. Gather some basic SEO knowledge, read carefully AdSense TOS (so many get banned in the beginning because of this), think about what you want with your site/s, make a solid plan, and then implement it. It could take you months but it will be worth it in the end. I've been a long time lurker of this forum, and just registered to post this. Waiting out and not diving in at the first opportunity or idea I had with AdSense, but instead researching and documenting myself, made me have a steady income solely from AdSense (more than $4k/month). Adsense is not an easy get rich scheme coz it s requires loads of hardwork , knowledge and time..I have been using adsense for long time and I hardly earn from it I guess its because I have no dedication to make big in it and I am busy with other things as well do it requires time as well
Funny, I get all my money from a site I pretty much ignore. All the sites I put my effort into make peanuts Maybe they'll start paying off in a few months ... years ... ergh
About writing/speaking English, yes some people have difficulty and it's natural. But then, AdSense is not available Only in English! Maybe its available in their language. They maybe posting in English in this forum but their sites maybe in other approved languages. That's also possible. I agree, AdSense is not a get rich quick project. But the world has become too professional now. People don't write articles in a simple mind anymore. Now keyword research is important, building links is important. Writing a good article alone is of lesser importance. Because experts say that without keyword research and link building, very few people will find you. A little while ago, a management student's thread was asking if he can hire SEO professionals and outsource article writing jobs or buy articles etc. and earn from AdSense. Clearly, he took this as a business, he'll invest and he wants back money. He's not putting anything of his own into his website. There are examples like these.
Yes. I agree that "AdSense is not a get-rich-fast scheme". Without putting efforts properly we cant earn money. Most of the people only do hard work to earn money. But here we need Smart work, we dont need hard work. Some people are keep on updating the articles without any optimised keywords or any business strategy. There is no wrong in knowing the things which earns us money faster compared to what we are earning now. So my opinion is "We need to do smart work instead of hard work and keep knowing things differently instead of sticking to one thing." All the Best to ALL.
You dont need to now speak/type english to make money with Adsense...You can do it with any language...

I agree that people can do sites in their native language, but that's not what I tried to point out when I said that. I just wanted to emphasize the fact that people don't put in the slightest effort and yet expect huge returns. To Uchenna Iheagwu: why would I care to get noticed? I have 2 posts under my name and absolutely nothing to gain from this post. to Project Mobius: YOU may know all the stuff I've posted, and congrats to you, BUT this is not as obvious to everyone as obvious as it is to you. Don't jump to the conclusion that if you know something everyone else does. I take myself as an example, and when I started out I had the "im going to get rich fast" mentality, only to be quickly disappointed. If I had a post like this to read, it would've helped me.
I'm pretty sure a normal person with common friggin sense will know that Adsense is not a get rich fast scheme.
I would like to add that you should not start adsense until you have good traffic coming to your site. This way you will only focus on building your site and not on adsense.
