Is the complete domain. Even after the .com/ is still the rest of the domain. Youtube went viral and got popular which google is looking for. Relevancy and popularity. Thats why they do good in the SERPs

 

Dude, my head hurts just by reading your post... what document you want as proof? keywords are important, strategic positions for the keyword on your website are very important, with logic deduction it is easy to figure out that a keyword in your URL is beneficial for your website! As for the brand websites, well that is a different story and you shouldn't think about that unless you have a great offer....

 

When someone search any query in google search engine then google go to its data base and try to find out relevant result. It try to search relevant result from domain name then come to title tag, keywords description and then content of the sites. Therefore have keyword in domain name give more benefits in serp.

 

Having your keyword in your URL does help SEO, but it is certainly not a determining factor. Youtube, etc. do well because they went viral. This small part of SEO does not compare to the value of good backlinks and quality relevant content.
