Sure, there is this new technique of getting high authority PR backlinks, it needs a bit of work but its good for the SERP and in my experience always increase PR by at least 1 sometimes even 3 in the next update, what you do is first you need to have the

 

SEO strategies is all about quality, many bloggers fails in link building just because they think about quantity not quality of backlinks. It is important that you get 10 backlinks from PR4 or above blogs rather than getting 100 backlinks from blogs having PR1 or PR0 Pagerank. Make sure you get PR from same niche website. If you have a tech blog and you are getting backlink from a forex or medical website, that doesn’t make much sense to search engine, and Google might treat is like a paid link. Google never consider backlinks which you get from “ LinkFarm” websites or any link building softwares. In fact there are chances that your blog might get banned from Google.

 

Guest posting is in trend nowadays. It helps both the parties. By guest blogging we can easily get essential backlinks, which helps in, generate traffic and good ranking.

 

There is nothing "new" in backlinking.. forums, guest blogging, link exchange, paid backlinks, whois backlinks, directories, articles, etcetc.. it has all been done because it works.

Besides all the typical methods (reciprocal links, 3-way links, directories, article submissions, blog and forum comments, etc.), this one could provide some very high quality backlinks. The problem is, finding a good location (and getting approved!) to guest post. But if you can find a related blog or niche site that will allow you to guest post, this could really help!

I don't think anyone else mentioned "link baiting". Although it's not as obvious or easy to track, link baiting is done by creating compelling tools, lists, or other unique content that will attract people to link to it naturally. Some ideas include: calculators and other website tools, TOP 10 lists, unique product reviews, etc.

 

i find back linking a real pain, and is some thing I out source. If you can, out source this. It may take some time to find a good back linker, but is well worth the effort. You can have your back links built while you focus on other tasks. Try looking in this forum for someone.

I have paid for backlinks for my website as a wholesale trade suppliers the service are being sold on eBay for £5.99 to get upto 2000 backlinks and unfortunately I didn’t get any backlinks to my site from these sellers pure scam..

 

These types of deal are very low quality backlinks anyway. They will probably do more harm than good.

 

Your backlinking efforts depends on competition. If you are in a high competitive field, your backlinks must come from high quality sites, so that they make sense. If you are in a low comp. field, usual link building ways will help.

 

I think there's no new backlinking strategy for this year....

there are 100 of bookmarking sites across the net,, discover them and then bookmarking on it,, i think this is one of the new strategy for getting backlinks!!

 

For increase traffic or quality backlinks it is better to use original content because duplicate content generally occupy low ranking as comparison to original content.

 

i've tried the backlink checker to check my competitors backlinks. This way i could get dofollow blogs with high pr in just a few.

 

Branded videos are a great way to get backlinks because they can be put on say youtube.com and they migrate to other sites on their own.

 

getting back links is a long process, but best to do them yourself if you can as then you know what sites are best for you. Creating something on your website, contest or give-away to make people link to you is the easy way to get back links

 

There isn't any new strategy developed this year , just try with your old ways to get backlinks.
