Guide me to build my new website

I had buy and register my new domain with with .net, using http://www.ipage.com

I don't have any experienced in site building so need some help from you people to start.

What I learn that now a days all the ready template are easily availabe , we just have to install those template and our site is ready.

I want to build a website in which buyer post their requirement and client post their services they offer and give response to buyer adds they needs.Initially I want it to be free to register but later on I want to implement a small charge once the site build its credibility through money bookers only.

If this option is to costly and does not work for me as a new user then I want to build a One Proudct Directory , like we have real
state dir like http://www.makaanwakaan.com/ but I want to list services of people only to one particular field rather property.

So can any body tell me

    a) what plate form I should use, joomla , php or some other ? which is easy to install and use and maintain for new users.
    b) Can you also tell me some place where I can learn how to install that script , preferably a video tutorials as we can learn easily from them
    c) Can you also suggest me some template for my site (I had mentioned what type of site i want to make). Initially i want a free one I agree to put the adds/link to the script makers to keep the script free or if not possible with low cost solution.

    Thanks in advance

What you're looking for is extremely specific, you won't find any 'free' templates, and very few paid templates that do what you are asking. It will take many months of coding experience to even begin to tackle on such a project. So if you don't know what you're doing, I would highly recommend you hire a professional to do this for you, or some part of the work that you aren't able to do.

If that's not an option, then I would start getting friendly with google and start looking for scripts that do something similar. I would look through all the databases for all the popular platforms and see which one of them actually DO what you want, rather than choosing the platform first.

You can start by finding templates/scripts, one website that I know of is http://www.themeforest.net which offers many wordpress templates with built-in scripts for specific purposes, maybe one of them will do what you want.

Otherwise you're stuck with going through the wordpress plugin database and seeing if something exists that suits your needs.

    Good Luck.

Thanks all for you reply specially Gwiz and Godloves.

The big and main reason is I want to do it my self is that I want to learn myslef. Just need a kick to start.
I had experince in blogger and i think it wont be much different then blogger.

What i understand either i had to find a template in joomla or wordpress ? I am looking for easies one
so which is more easy to handle and free good templates are also available?

Ok, is there any free template available for real state like some user can post what they want to sale/rent
and some what they want too buy/purchase, or some what similar to that service , any free template that
    can achieve that.

I will suggest that you use wordpress as sites build with wordpress ranks faster. You can use a nice customisable theme and give it a good designed static home page. There are many customizable Free themes you can google out. See the example of what i mean here http://beginnersstocksinvest.com/ a worpress site with a customised theme and a static home page

    Hi,
After purchasing domain link, you may choose a design for you website, and after design just catch an web programmer, and your website will be completed, for a time.

Or you can take advantage of already built websites, seo optimised wordpress blogs. The work is done and the money maker handed over to you at your own bid price.

if you want to learn to do it yourself, you may have years of learning work ahead of you. if you want to use a CMS, then you have a few options. you can hire a programmer to create a small cms for you. you can use one of the common CMS which will still require a bit of learning and searching. just about 95% less than learning to code one up yourself. I personally still think wordpress, drupal, and joomla are gigantic monsters that are just entirely too big and complicated to work with. i find myself trying to customize elements in them, then debugging...and it takes as much time as it would for me to build from the ground up.

If you ain't ready for a few years worth of learning to develop, then you may wanna get a CMS. Or hire someone.

I will suggest also WordPress. Joomla is a bit harder to unfold and I guess the guy that opened this topic by now he has some experience with his site. Joomla is interesting if you have a lot of spare time.

Better you prefer wordpress. It is user-friendly. In wordpress many plugins are available.
