Is this true about PR

Hi memebrs, I like to know why my blog PR goes down from 4 to 3. So many of memebrs are discussing about PR updates here, is it true? Can I get back my PR position again?

Any suggestion to get back my PR please.

 

Yes, there have PR udpate going on at january as per I know, many blog/website owner are experiencing the same. Wait & see what happen.

In the mean time go & create more quality backlinks.

 

I am agree with Imdadc. Google is doing little update in PR and due to this lots of websites and blogs may lose their PR. So, you should wait till January last.

 

all web masters are looking for big update, but still no information about PR!

hey, its not all about the number of backlinks, maybe he lost PR because of spammy backlinks, or massive link building, or simply because Google again updated their algo and now his content is not as good as they first thought. You know there are over 200 factors for ranking, links are not the only thing that determine PR...

 

If you've been building your links naturally then you're fine, just wait few days and see what happens to your pr.

 

I think this is going to affect a lot of people at the next update due to the big time difference since the last one.

I have no idea how pagerank works and I have the following question -- in a similar vein as the initial post... however-- what can I do to get PR-- it was zero for a couple of months then went to NA.

Does anyone know why they would ignore my new thingamablog business blog? Interesting content- [technorati gives a little notice].

I was hoping this update they would notice. Main signature link. Content promoted-- calendar developed. custom hacks developed. Promoted in thingamablog forums. link in widely known blog. Nothing?

I am not an SEO expert so any help would be appreciated. My blog has been at NA since last June or so.

Yes you can get your pr back but i guess you may have to wait till next update which no one really knows when will it happen.

hi i am trying to get pr but from past 6 months i am getting no updation in page rank.

 

There is some big reason behind this that google is stop updating pr of site and they can also change its algorithm.Lets see what happen in future.

PR is indeed updated in this month!
3 of my websites ranked up: 4 to 6, 2 to 4 and 0 to 4
But, 1 of my websites dropped from 2 to 1

 

you need higher quality backlinks

 

Yes my 100 sites from PR 3 to 0
and 50 sites updated from PR 0 to PR 1
